Which class should I use my boost on?

I have the LK upgrade - my main is a rogue, which I intend to play 90% of the time, but I want to be really careful with what I choose to boost since leveling takes so long. Please no hate - i KNOW it’s lame and I know what you’ll say - I’d say the same. My other classes I usually enjoyed playing in the past were druid and warlock, but i LOVE pvp and doing well in pvp and I remember my druid not doing so well (or maybe I was just not good at the game back then). I’m also debating on boosting a paladin so I have an OP/tanky class, something I rarely ever play. Which class will be the most OP for pvp in LK? And also FUN to play? I’m honestly torn and just keeping the boost there til I have a solid decision. Thanks!

If your not doing prepatch prep with it no reason to use it.

But pally is a safe bet esp as 5 mana are giving tanks a gift bag least as per beta of flasks and other goodys so will be profitable to get that plus charge for the run.

As far as pvp goes not my expertise but warlock is not bad in wrath of I remember right while giving a range vs melee option.

I would do a pala or priest personally. Hate levelling those

I think pala is a very safe bet for you, easily the most broken class in wrath in both pve and pvp. Sacred cleansing alone makes it a god tier class in arena. It is the best healer in 2s by a huge margin. Prot is extremely good in pve. Ret has solid comps in 3s, 2s has Ret/Hunter R1 viable in early seasons (if titles are still awarded in 2s) and ret is much easier to play in wrath PVE than it was in TBC.

This doesn’t really exist, it’s not like TBC/Vanilla where you can just spam some combo of 3 specs and consistently top the charts regardless of skill level.

In Wrath, almost every spec comes into it’s own and the difference between S tier to A tier to B tier is at the max like 5 - 10%.

For example, most of the tier lists you see will list specs like Fire Mage / Fury / Rogue as top 3 DPS near ICC time but in reality if you have no clue how to play those specs someone whose seen as a tier or two below you can easily overtake you on the charts.

In that regard I suggest you watch videos of multiple specs at high level gameplay and maybe even start leveling some of them up to get a better feel for your playstyle.

It’s hard to recommend a “OP” spec because if there truly was one everyone would run it when in reality most of the people who chase that are often times poor performing players hoping their class can carry them which in Wrath won’t be the case.

Fury warrior.

Paladin, they can do all 3 roles amazingly. They are fun. But they are going to be overplayed.
I am trying to decide what to boost as well.
Already have a pally, thinking about Warlock or Druid…maybe Shaman.

Yeah I"m sorta torn between pally and lock. Becuase i know locks are really fun to play, but also incredibly squishy so idk

OP and fun? Go paladin.

Imagine the class you hate fighting most in pvp as Rogue and boost it, learn how to play and how to play against it at the same time

Do a little research and find the right choice. WotLK has been researched and simmed to the limit, we know exactly how to set up characters for success.

It depends on what you intend to do with it. I used it on a druid because druids are not fun to level in my opinion. They are good for multiple tasks however and I use mine for farming. I PVP my butt off and get PVP gear and just farm herbs and ore. If I already had a max lvl druid I would use the boost on a Paly and tank dungeons for guildies. Again, just my opinion.

When this expansion came out back in the day, I really enjoyed resto/ele sham and resto/tank druid.

I boosted a mage a few days ago to do some farming and you can tell how much more thought and effort went into the design of this class. The toolkit is amazing. Frost in particular feels like it could be invincible if geared appropriately.

Pally really sucks to level. So if you have any desire to play pally, that’s what I would do. Not to mention how good they are and can perform all three roles.

Pally. Probably the most generally OP class in the expansion but also one of the most boring to level

I just used mine on my rogue.

Since you already main a rogue, what’s your next favorite class that isn’t maxed? I was thinking I might pick something I wouldn’t play because I never play them… like a mage… but that would be a waste IMO.

If you really like playing druid or warlock then grab one!

If you want to pvp with a paladin because you know you’ll be pvp’n? Do it!

I’d say just pick one you WANT to play, not one you just want to max out… they’ll sit on a bench for a long time and you’ll sometimes feel bad when you see them in the roster.

I swear by shadow priest in terms of flexible PVE use and sheer PVP fun.
