Are we going to get 2007 or 2008?
I really would like the original Brewfest Ram from the first iteration
I’m hip for the 2021 Brewfest myself 
I havent seen people discussing so it’s hard to tell which version we may get since they are totally different. It would be awesome to have the first one since it gives you a couple of unobtainable stuff but blizzard may go with the easy route and gives us the 2008 version. Both versions were in the end so we could get either of those

If bet that it’s the 2007 model. If what you are saying is true about rare stuff that was limited then yes my guess is we get it.

Given than TBC has over a year left Id imagine we get 2007 first and 2008 next year. Would also make sense since 2008 version drops “free” badge trinkets which would be kind of OP now, but would make sense as catchup gear in a year

I honestly forgot there even were two different versions during TBC (same for Hallow’s End too?). Was actually kind of hoping for the version with the boss to get some easy epic trinkets for alts. Darn.
Very true. However, the summer fire festival dropped the free badge cloaks (exact same stats) then it’s possible we get brew fest with the free badge trinkets.

Exactly, we should get the first version of Brewfest first. If I knew that ram mount wasn’t going to be there the next year I would have grinded the tickets to buy it in 2007. Having double badge trinkets right now seems too OP
They wouldn’t be OP now at all. They’re the same as the badge trinkets, if anything they just save you 41 badges. Which is fine, I hate doing dungeons, finish up my revered with CoT for Hyjal before it comes out and never touch them again.
IIRC you can’t double up on the badge trinkets; using one puts both on cooldown.
But it’s been a long time, I may be wrong.
We’ll most likely have the trinkets now.

It’s likely not going to be the original. The game is based on the last patch of TBC. They did tweak some things, but I doubt they tweak this.
