Like it says where is the west coast server . My Latency on Pagle is not good so I rerolled on Atiesh now I am back on Pagle in a round about way . How are you going to fix it Blizz ?
Not enough time, too expensive. - Blizzard Entertainment
west coast?
The West Coast of the United States, also known as the Pacific Coast
I would guess Atiesh/Lei Shen is west coast. Immersus is west coast as it’s prior server was (Whitemane)
From a command prompt run:
netstat -n | find “:3724”
and see for yourself
you can easily login those server and check the realm time.
i think only grob is west coast now while the pve mega server “with it’s sub servers” all are on east coast
define “not good”
by doing absolutely nothing
Grob is west coast ping
Your guess is wrong. Lei Shen Realm time is East Coast.
There doesn’t seem to be one anymore =/
Choice is down to an eventual dead Grobb on the west or the only server that matters Pagle on the east.
AFAIK, Grobbulus (the Pacific Timezone server) is in the Los Angeles area.
Grobbulus is a West Coast. I have never had latency issues on Grob from FL. Could be ISP.
Pagle its 72 home 39world at this time thats better then normal . Atiesh is 40 home and 39 world thats a little higher then normal . I play on west coast server on retail its same as Atiesh .I have not transferred to Lei Shen but my guess is it will be the same as Pagles , Atiesh is still west coast .
I would never play on Grobbulus its a RP server on top of PVP server it could be next door and and I would not play on it .
Fun fact, realm time isn’t an indicator of where the server is.
Pagle is in Chicago (central time) with est server time.
WoW has servers in LA, Chicago, or New York. Most of the US should get fine ping to Chicago.
West coast to a New York server is something to avoid.
Grobb traces back to somewhere in the greater LA area… its somewhere over there…
