I hope next season they really pay more attention to BG gear progression. In classic you have the opportunity to just focus on BGs and gear up that way and do just fine using it in raids if you wanted to go over and do them.
You can choose to play classic. You can also choose to play SOD. If you want pure classic go play classic?
Back in the day people PVPed in tier 0 because they didn’t add BGs or an honor system yet.
You can just get tier 0 and dungeon pieces and dungeons weapons and PVP in that, you don’t need the BG vendor loot.

Dungeon gear will obviously lose to someone in full set of raid gear. Point is to be able to “Compete” in PvP and the only way to do that is to make it fair. Why should I be at a disadvantage to someone who wakes up at 8 AM on a Saturday every week bc they enjoy that content.
Why should PvP gear be at such a disadvantage in PvP to PvE when time and effort is invested into PVP Content?

Wait am I trippin? Thought they dropped a brand new lv 50 pvp set? Stv gear for pvp? Loosened the restrictions on AB gear? Added new pieces for ranking, even for lower levels?
I’m a PvP player, mainly in classic and have dabbled recently in arena for DF and this is honestly the first time I feel like classic has given a gearing option for PvP that’s not level 60 required.
If SOD is considered classic why are they bringing spells in from retail? Bro I mean if you weren’t so ignorant, you would know gear makes a big difference comparing Raid to Dungeon gear… open your mind a bit bud.
There’s nothing wrong with pulling assets from other games instead of making new ones. But this is a classic season.

Some players want to log in and run some PvP content, get some gear, and log off. Not “We’Ll ThErEs TiEr 0 DuNgEoN gEaR” you said it yourself “Gear makes a difference.” You should be able to farm gear suited for PvP in PvP content.
