Is there any good pvp gear for level 25 or does the only good gear in the game drop from raids? I don’t raid so am I screwed or what

Unfortunately, because of no pvp gear progression, I have no interest in continuing to play SoD. Classic has two routes to great gear: pvp and pve. This season is just pve. You cannot be a pvp focused player because you will just get facerolled by raiders. You have to raid every three days or you will not even be remotely competitive. This is not at all how classic works. No point in this for me and a lot of people. Really really dumb they just made pvp a side novelty for pve’ers. Retail mindset infecting classic.
If they want to appeal to the same people who already subscribe for retail, so be it. But dumb business decision.

There is a rank 3 cape, rank 3 pvp trinket, and a trinket from wsg rep which is good for pvp. Getting rank 3 might be easy enough but planning to do it on either ab or wsg weekend whichever comes first.

It’s Season of Discovery, so different expectations and paths are at play.
Demanding it map exactly to Classic was never going to be true, given the very nature of SoD.

The power difference between a full set of level 25 green gear from the AH vs. a full set of BFD gear is like 15%.
And you won’t only have AH greens… you’ll have some PvP blues and quest blues and maybe even some BoE blues. The difference is more like 5%
TLDR your character is perfectly competitive without ever setting foot in BFD. Not that BFD has a huge barrier to entry… it’s basically a dungeon.

It’s a season of classic, yes. It’s not retail. It’s a classic season. You download the classic client, and it’s in the classic drop down. It’s classic. With runes and new content. That’s all great stuff, but it shouldn’t come with a needless cutting out of an entire classic demographic of players.

I don’t know the point of your post. It doesn’t make any sense at all. Imagine they made a season of wow, but made raids not drop any items. Instead, you could only pvp to get gear. Then imagine suggesting this was a problem because that’s not how the game works. Then being told “99% of the game adheres to the wow framework”. It’s just nonsensical.
But nice to see that’s all you have in rebuttal. Nothing.

Correct, it’s not how that specific Season works. If I didn’t care for that remix, I wouldn’t play it, not demand they strip out the remix and make it the same as what’s already available.

Well you might be a passive door mat I guess. Other people would be inclined to provide feedback for why Blizzard is losing subs. That’s probably the more productive option.

Not playing/giving money for something I don’t enjoy is the opposite of being a door mat.
Not letting your voice be heard is the epitome of a doormat. Proactive people will voice their concerns. That’s ok if that’s not you, but let’s not try to imply proactivity is a bad thing.
Anyway, OP is correct. Substantive PvP progression needs to be implemented, or Blizzard is alienating a large classic demographic.

They are, not fully in Phase 1, but we only have WG and Ashenvale atm, and Ashenvale is getting tweaks currently.
