Where's classic armory?

I’m pretty sure I remember Blizzard mentioning a classic armory was possibly in the works prior to tbc launch but it never happened. Now wrath is almost here and we haven’t heard a word about it. What happened?

p.s. give us RDF, please and thank you

Honestly, I don’t even think it has one. Every classic person I see on the forums and try to inspect them, I just see “view activity”

Right, it doesn’t exist. I’m wondering why though. There’s been plenty of time to make one, people would definitely use it, so why don’t we have it? Or at the very least why hasn’t it been mentioned?

I don’t know, but it’s kind of annoying. Because if you look up someone’s name on the Armory you can also see “view classic characters” but those never ever come up.

It doesn’t exist because the dev team literally does not have the personal available to dedicate time to creating it. The entire team is like 7 dudes.

If anyone’s going to kill Classic, it’s going to be the company itself.

Honestly I’d even take the current retail armory retrofitted to work with classic. Although I have to say that the actual wotlk armory was the best version by far, back when you could pose your character and it had way more detailed information than the retail one does (like arena match history for example).

I think the community would love it if you’d implement this blizzard.

we’ve been saying for 17yrs- the real wowkiller will be wow.

FF14 did a pretty good job taking a chunk out of WoW, though I suppose you could argue that was almost self inflicted due to Shadowlands.
