Absolutely. I’ve had conversations with people in LFR.
Sometimes, depends on when in the xpac and when people are available. And for people with limitations, the broken wings help more. It’s an option, but it doesn’t mean they should have changed the terms of the mount months later, just before the season started. And the achievements were in the game with no one doing higher difficulty having issues with it until it was brought to their attention. Now you all have jumped on the opportunity to finger wag at the casuals.
They come up with whatever and copy and paste from each other all these standards they’ve applied to hate on casuals. And it’s been a thing since the start of the game that Blizz has done very little to discourage. Which makes their recent efforts to improve the community feel hollow.
Don’t you have better things do besides cutting down people with disabilities. I see that you also have a disability called NPD and know one is cutting you down because you have it!
LFR isn’t a difficulty. Again, you assumed poorly that this was going to be an option for LFR crawlers. It isn’t. Instead of complaining, why not figure out how you are going to obtain this? The Moose in WoD was not an LFR option and people and communities came together for people to get it. Same concept, different time period.
By getting people to pay gold to die in a fire for one boss fight, unless you got an a wait list to maybe get a slot from a charity run.
No one is going to carry people through three complete raids, 31 boss fights and all intervening trash, for anything less than an exorbitant sum of gold. It’s not doable as a scrappy community coming together to bootstrap up together. It’s an attempt to drive people into other people’s toxic PUG groups in the Raid Finder and it’s not going to achieve that.
What I keep saying too…this isn’t just kill last boss and get mount type runs…add in fact only 1 Fate is up on a given week…its going to be dang hard to get kind of help group to get all those bosses down …
Right? Who’s really going to Friendship Moose 30 bosses? This is either just to move more tokens or Blizzard’s disdain for casual players showing though again. Maybe both.
As a truly filthy casual antisocial forever afk player that constantly steps away from the keyboard who never actively tries for any of these achievements it’s threads like this that really motivate me to step up my game so that I can forever ride my proud slimey kitty into battle shaming ppl who just subsist on outrage like psychic vampires.
You know what though? If my kitty ain’t slime, I’ll be fine.
Would could possibly go wrong with an entire raid full of casuals with casual ilevels, that have never run these raids, only to have them try to run it for the first time on normal? /s
It can’t even drive people into them, because no one would take them. The hoops even a highly geared person has to jump through is insane for some of these pugs. “You haven’t done this run on Mythic, sorry, no access to our normal mode run.”
Idk maybe they learn something and communicate with each other and complete the fight instead of bashing their heads against a wall getting determination stacks to kill a boss
