As subject states… wtf blizzard? Shattrath last year went off, and this year nothing? Imagine organising to meet up with online friends to watch fireworks in Shatt/Dal/Stormwind/Anywhere and there being literally nothing. Not happy

its the small things that add up make that tin foil of the game is in maintenance mode and they don’t really care…not seem so tin foil-ey.
meanwhile as I keep getting stuff in the major trade hub in eve I can’t see through the games display since they put it real close to where you land/take off by the undock area.
And what players put out on top of the lol.

While true for quite a few of us, some people are from the Future. The OP mentioned they were on an Oceanic realm, so they would fall into that category, and realm events should be following a more local time there.
(I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an “off by one” issue like the Winter Veil holiday.)

I was gonna say, am I missing something? He posted this 12 hours ago and NYE isn’t for another 4 to 6 hours.
Most games for the OCE and asia TZ will give us something.
blizzard last night did not. I wasn’t joking when I couldn’t see worth a damn in eve last night. At times the fireworks were blinding on the undock lol.
I forgot some game companies actually care about its clients in the pacific region. eve started their fireworks cycles for the Kiwi’s first. as they are the first major tz for the day.
Then east and west Australia. then us in japan slot.
I know the US based players are mostly ignorant of all the tz’s here. sadly, the Blizzard devs have this ignorance too.

When op posted it was around dec 31 0600 to 0800 for the US east coast.
OCE/asia/japan is about +14 to +17 hours to whatever US east coast time is.
OP had NYE before even I did. they are either east coast australia or are in new zealand. they are +2/3 hours to my japan time.

For oce/japan…its almost dinner time Jan 1. In Japan right now its 1430 Jan 1.
Aussies and Kiwis add more hours. For a Kiwi their time is 1630 or 1730 Jan 1. I forget if +2 or 3 hours atm lol.
