Where is the outrage for Dazar'alor?

Do not feed the troll.

I am not feeding him, but thanks for the warning, I am just ignoring him and silently reporting him, as it should be.

All things considered night elves were pretty pleasant up until the Burning. I don’t think there’s a single instance of them moving out of their own lands to attack the Horde territories, just attacking the Horde when they entered nelf lands.

Except for that one time against Garrosh.

The books especially the War of the Ancients, didn’t paint the Night Elves as particularly good people, a few exceptions existed yeah, but most were… well… not good. Also the fact that in WC3 they were willing to kill humans and orcs alike for unknowingly encroaching on their lands. To name a few examples.

The society painted in War of the Ancient specifically no longer exists, and hasn’t for longer than it existed before.

As for orcs and humans, yes, that was a bad first contact, but followed up by all of them fighting against the demons. As stated earlier in this thread, the Shattering even states that the night elves were giving lumber to the orcs up until the Wrathgate, and the orcs just wanted more, not stopping the Warsong from their clearcutting at all.

At the end of MoP, the Horde was allowed to keep both Azshara and Stonetalon, solving the Horde’s lumber problem completely, and the night elves allowed that. Seems pretty good to me.

The contrast bothers me, cause here you painted a benevolent picture, but then you go into like let us say Legion, where she states (if you are Horde) that she did not give you the tear of elune to aid a group of addicts (Nightborne) or how she claims in a World Quest that she would want to use Nightborne Civilians as meat shields. Or how she was highly racist and snobby to Varian during MoP, and only when her strategies failed did she allow Varian to take over and actually win.

We call that last one bad writing. Blizzard hadn’t written Tyrande in much more than some side quests for years, and that single instance is regarded as one of the most disliked ones ever written by many fans.

The Nightborne, again, are basically just a collection of the same caste that sided with the Legion, except they chose to hide and wait it out, rather than help. So in her mind, after ten thousand years, they come out of hiding, the majority seem to side with the Legion, and she’s being asked to help the remnants, many of whole seemed fine with banishing those they didn’t like to die, up until recently.

The civilian meat shield one I’m not aware of, can you provide a source? The only ones regarding civilians I ever saw were when she tells the player to save fleeing refugees from the Nightborne.

Also, her strat in A Little Patience didn’t fail, if I recall correctly they didn’t even enact it, choosing Varian’s idea over it instead.

I like them because they’re statuesque warrior women who ride giant tigers, Goshom.

I want to see Talanji killing Anduin in some epic cutscene, that will be the only thing that will save BFA

Man.

I just realized I wish the Horde went about Teldrassil like the Alliance did Dazar’alor.

It would have been better, yes. Most night elf fans, myself included, were cheesed about Teldrassil, but were hoping that the Burning was a false flag attack after the Horde had managed to capture it.

Horde thinks the Alliance deliberately burned it to kill Horde troops en masse, and Alliance thinks the Horde did it to make a statement.

Buuut no.

Can’t find it, I would need to do the WQs again, I will get back to you once I find it.

There are other races that do it better…

I want to see Genn and Jaina die, only way to save BfA for me story-wise.

Doesn’t really help your case when you say that the Alliance is as bad as the Horde in one post, and then in another say that the only way to save BfA for you is to be able to kill the Alliance characters that hate the Horde because the Horde destroyed and/or conquered their homes and killed their loved ones.

Not the best dichotomy.

I want them dead because of their hypocrisy for one, especially Jaina who just got done mocking Talanji about the murder of her people and father and when she gets back to Anduin she acts like this innocent angel: Oh! I feel so sorry for the Zandalari! In fact, I think I like Genn more then her, at least he is consistent when he goes immediately about pushing their advantage and wiping them all out.

I don’t see any mockery there… she’s facing an enemy and is putting on a cold front (pun intended) because the times where she’s overtly shown compassion she’s been bitten for it.

When she’s with her friends, she lets that facade drop somewhat. Though I’m a bit confused as to what you mean by mockery, is there dialogue? Keep in mind the Horde side is specifically told by a biased narrator, and is different for Alliance side who experience it in real time.

That don’t look silent. Also, if anyone should be reported, it’s this guy:

Um, excuse you… But Darnassus was always populated with a fair number of Kaldorei RPers. At least on Moon Guard. Myself, my guild, and several other guilds used it as our main hub because RPign in Stormwind as a Night Elf is gross.

Yes, there is dialogue, and that fight with Jaina is not told by a narrator, we are doing that as Horde, we see Talanji flying in and Jaina ina mocking tone tells Talanji: Shouldn’t you be taking care of your dead people? (or something along those lines)

And then she has the gal to act as if she was some moral pariah after she just got done mocking Talanji about the death of her people and her father (including civilians)

I’ll need to search that dialogue, then.

Check Nobble’s video it is in there if I remember correctly, that is where I heard it.
