- Demands something is canon
- Cites Nobbel
Oh buddy.
Oh buddy.
two things here.
first, she wasn’t
second, Night Elves are the master race. We are allowed to be rude and snobby if we want.
Nobbel is honestly the worst source for lore… Honestly, most of the WoW “Lore Masters” you find on the internet have no idea what they are talking about.
Nobble is the dude most versed in lore and uses actual clips of the raid where what I cited happened. Are you about done with your non-arguments? I seriously wish I could just remove posts like this that add absolutely nothing.
Nobbel has made a lot of good lore videos, but I would hardly call him the most versed, let alone a credible citation in a debate about lore - as he does NOT work for Blizzard nor have any say in the story.
I do find it funny, however, that you claim Nobbel is a irrefutable source, yet
You’ll discard Blue Posts - written by people who DO work for Blizzard - entirely just because they were wrong that one time.
This never happened, here is the Dialogue:

Stop lying.
Dude… seriously… read my post, I am not even citing nobble, I am citing what happens IN his video, not what he says. He does the raid, and is IN the normal instance fighting Jaina when what I cited happens, Jaina mocking Talanji, so no, I am not even citing Nobble, a strawman that I haven’t argued.
She never mocks Talanji. SHe doesn’t even talk to Talanji….
You’re claiming you saw it in a Nobbel video, yet are disregarding posts from actual Blizzard employees and actual proof against your claim. There is no proof that Jaina mocks Talanji, especially since you merely say this and tell us to go dig for it, instead of actually producing it yourself.
You are quoting the Alliance narrated version of it, just saying.
Captain Zadari: All hands on deck! Time to make de daughter of de sea pay for trespassing in our waters!
Lady Jaina Proudmoore: Consider this your only warning. Turn your vessel back to port and look after your dead… or you will soon join them.
Captain Zadari: I have heard of you, Jaina Proudmoore. De little girl who betrayed her father and lost her brother to war. Failure is your family legacy.
Lady Jaina Proudmoore: If you know so much about me, captain, then you would have been wise to run while you still had the chance.
Captain Zadari: You will pay for your crimes! All hands, attack!
This dialogue is all I can find where she references seeing to the dead.
Apparently saying that they killed people and they’ll kill you too if you don’t go away counts as mocking a daughter over her dead father to Goshom.
Dude, if you cannot look up the Lore of the Battle of Dazar’alor video by a youtuber like Nobble, get off the internet. It is the first video that pops up when you type in Nobble and Dazar’alor.
Yes, which is why I say look at the video and listen to her speak, tone is important. Tone cannot be carried in mere text.
No I am not, go to the link… It’s a guide for the Jaina Boss fight…
You claimed she was talking to Talanji… she isn’t. Stop lying, stop back peddling, just stop.
Yes, done from the Alliance side where you are turned into horde and narrated by a Kul Tiran Sailor. If you claim that his is correct, I will claim that the narrator for the Rastakhan fight is correct. So I mistook who she was mocking, doesn’t matter, she still mocked the Zandalari about killing their people.
I’m not interested in watching that video, as it’s not a credible source for the debate. It’s helpful for lore, but should be taken with a grain of salt. If you actually cared to be a credible poster, you would post actual evidence from the game itself, and not an outside YouTuber.
So really, it’s just your interpretation of how she said it… that’s not proof, chief.
“Look after your dead.” Is not mocking.
Stop lying.
Watch… the video… the tone is what matters.
Says the dude who refuses to watch the video because he is afraid of being wrong. Sorry buddy. Either watch the video or go home, seeing how the battle itself is not tampered with and shows the tone of the text rather then just the text.
?
Honestly, I can see how that can be seen as mocking despite Jaina’s intentions, strange that you point at that particular part of the quote.
