This is so wrong.
Latin America means Latin-based languages speaking countries in the Americas. Mexico is a North American country and it’s Latin America. One could even argue Canada is a Latin American country if you bear in mind their French heritage in Quebec.
Why or how in the world people managed to link the word “Latin” with the American indigenous tribes and cultures is beyond me. Ignorance perhaps is a safe bet.

Nobody on earth thinks of Canada as latin american. lol “Latino” culture is a mix of spanish, african, and indigenous peoples, who were asian migrants. There is no such thing as a pure latino culture.

Most of the races are a mix of different cultures, not representative of one culture. But I would indeed like to see some aspects of Latin cultures, which is so rich, incorporated into a new race.
People have been asking for a reptile race forever so why not have a colorful new lizard-like race based on a mix various Latin cultures? Or amphibian. They could be like poison dart frogs or desert lizards. Or both. I mean, I would play the crap out of a toon like that. Tongue animations would be awesome!

The funny thing about the Spanish Inquisition is that it wasn’t one of the most violent religious inquisitions compared to other European inquisitions (the ones carried out by English or German kingdoms against witchcraft were rather brutal), and Spain was actually late in adopting an official inquisition, to the point where they were congratulated by the rest of European countries for “finally” joining the club.
The first European country to start a religious inquisition was France, the last being Italy at the end of the 19th century. For some reason people believe only Spain carried out an inquisition.
Again, probably due to ignorance.
