Okay but they literally have a role in the story though.
I would like to know how Gazlowe and Thrall have no role but Alleria and Anduin do.

What is either of those peoples arcs, jaina and anduin have an arc, they have an actual role to play out in the story, what is thrall and gazlowe’s
Thrall telling me to be good while he leaves me in the care of five Alliance characters for my journey felt so much like having a parent drop you off to a party for a kid you’ve never met with no gift.
So I’m just there, standing awkwardly in every photo knowing that if I want cake I have to draw attention to myself, and no thank you.
So, having an arc is not what people are complaining about. People complain about merely having a presence, there’s just not enough Horde. Well, it turns out that there are Horde characters. What is Thrall and Gazlowe’s arcs? To early to tell, but they clearly have involvement, which is what people complained about. So now the goalpost has shifted from being present and doing things to having an ‘arc’.
Nobody has said anything about any character having an ‘arc’. I’d like to ask you that same question: What is Jaina’s arc in this expac? Since you brought her up. What has she done, what will she do, other than just show up only to leave? No one complained about Jaina having an arc, people complained they even had to see Jaina.
No one is going to just be satisfied with seeing a character do nothing, do you honestly expect people to be satisfied with a horde npc being bolted in place
Thrall and Gazlowe didn’t do nothing. Play the game.
People who are complaining about this will not be satisfied because nothing will be good enough.
Damn sucks to suck, anyway they want actual horde presence in the story and while thrall is a good start gazlowe only appears in optional questing and can be missed
He does not. He is part of the main quest in Azj’kahet. He shows up when you meet with Anub’azal.
at least DF finally satisfied those who wanted ducks
Compared to Anduin, Alleria, and the Bronzebeards, they’ve barely been in the thing.
Hey, this one gave us a duck with shoes.
Who, in case you were wondering, is not for sale.
yeah but compared to SL baine they’re consummate movers and shakers.
e: how did this capture the approximate 5 minutes I’ve not had my mog up the past 2 days, this is awful.
What’s your point?
If nelf fans baby whine moan cried about losing less than just the Forsaken playerbase alone (and definitely less than the Horde in total) and that got what they wanted, why shouldn’t I do the same thing about the things I want?
As much as those two words cause me psychic damage, that’s not wrong. They have a lot more potential for future patches and pop up side stories to be told, and we have undead representation coming… next week? It’s not evening out the amount of dev time put into the leveling campaign, but it’s more than dragonflight already.
There’s a lot of missed opportunities that feel funny on a second look. Anduin could have related the city of threads to suramar for horde players instead of waxing poetic about stormwind. I wonder now if the “I tried to kill you” line from Anduin flags for everyone or if it’s only for characters that played through slands.
They should have the Horde start mining Beledar or whatever that light bulb is called. Mining it for “minerals”.
Or we could just paint a giant Horde symbol on it.
First, they could of written a zone for horde aliened races and or characters. instead of having humans elfs in a zone why not trolls? heck we got those half trolls/night elfs why not more content like that and involve horde characters?
I mean the writers could of written anything, but they choose to not include an entire faction.
I’m gonna be real and step out of my honorbound-korkron-garrosh-sympathizer RP boots for just a moment.
I actually like 99% of TWW storyline so far (That 1% is Alleria. Please edgelord harder lady, you’re almost to Illidan levels. I believe in you /s). I don’t mind that the first chunk is Alliance focused if it’s at least gonna be this good.
Gimme some side quests with some horde characters so that we know they are still there, and then just gear up to give us some major things to do later on when it feels natural. And then we can let it equal out and I can tell the whining Night Elves (it’s always the night elves I swear) that the alliance had their fun for 3 xpacs, now it’s time to let the horde do something major.
Oh, and can I please not take quests from radical Horde hater NPCs? Alleria and Jaina? Kindly?
Thanks, korkron boots back on.
ZUG ZUG.
With any luck Lor’themar will be a main character in Midnight, which should have been the case for the past several storylines, seeing as he’s the most senior of the Horde’s leadership, and has been since Sylvanas farted off. And no, Thrall coming back after letting everyone else make terrible decisions for a decade doesn’t make him suddenly outrank Lor’themar. They SHOULD take him out of side story hell, which he’s been stuck in since Legion ended, and start putting him on the forefront of the story to prep up for Midnight.
But it’s likely going to be two more years of Windrunner mania. I hate reruns.
Right? Shadowy-void magic archer Windrunner has issues with the supreme entity controlling her brain while she does her best to rebel against it but ultimately plays into super-smart entity’s plans…
At least it was super popular when they did this exact storyline last time. Oh wait…
