Last we heard he was in Karazhan researching ways to deal with the giant sword in the planet. And thinking up new puns too! He really wants nothing to do with the factions.

But also because he’s been central to two expansions now and they want to give him a break.

He was at the very beginning and he said, “I’m out. This faction war is dumb. Ya’ll dumb. Azeroth’s dying. This ain’t it chief.” Then parted from the player and made me sad.

Man, I love Khadgar! I didn’t realize people disliked him. I get that the Apexis Crystal fetch and Nethershard quests were kinda …rough…especially because they were the chapter for the story on that particular week…but how’s he useless? Without him, how would have Illidan and Velen escaped at the end of ToS?
