I miss him too. He’s cool. But Flynn is also hilarious, both hot.
He’s the only human that gets a pass. Dadgar is bae.

Flynn hanging from an overburdened gryphon while hanging on to a very heavy treasure chest: the gem that gets overlooked when people criticize Alliance questing in BFA.
He said he was going to study in Karazan to try and figure out what to do with the giant sword. I think it was that pre expansion questline in silithus he flew off.
I loved that, I also love leading him while he’s drunk all around looking for that place. (details is not my strong point). I admit his voice over does an amazing job. The very first time we meet him and he says to hit him, I laughed so much.
I miss Khadgar. Good post OP. Very good question.BFA has literally been trash since HoA fail.
Looking forward to 8.2, 8.3 Blizzcon so we can GTFO of BFA.
Now that I think about it, does Flynn Fairwind remind anyone else of Capt. Jack Sparrow…
He rage quit and took Velen’s keys to the Vindicar and left the planet.
He reminds me more of Flynn from Tangled…
Really, I don’t miss him after all those quests trying to kill me,I don’t miss him.
the spell to get the sword out has a LONG cast time.
I miss Dadghar. Hopefully some threat falls upon Azeroth next expansion so I can hear more puns from him.
I like to think when Khadgar went back to Karazhan to research a means to heal Azeroth he stumbled across a really, really, really good book!
Like a thrilling mystery novel about a scrappy Gnome detective and his loyal Dark Iron sidekick and their adventures all across Azeroth in pursuit the nefarious Professor Lorearty, thwarting his plans to rewrite’s Azeroth’s history!
He’s on book five and is waiting for the author to finish book six and seven before he gets back to researching a cure for Dark Titan stab wounds.

He’s becoming Medivh by rejecting Medivh’s power?

You don’t just get rid of temptation with just a single swing of a bat.
It is a constant battle of vigilance and self control one that a single mortal cannot combat alone forever. Evil always finds a way.
I actually miss dadghar
The mental image of Dadghar in his slippers and bathrobe reading a whodunit on the couch in Karazhan makes me happy.

Maybe he’s in Karazhan or Dalaran, being useless for the alliance, just to keep the habit!
This.
Also, after all the legion was defeated it was only a matter of time before people realized who the real dreadlord was.
Considering how many times he “accidently” nearly killed us during legion, his mysterious absence during the initial broken shore assualt, not noticing that cordana was getting corrupted during wod, when there were literally only three people next to him the whole time he was out in his mage retreat (which conveniently led to the legion getting their hands on illidan’s body)…
…and so on.
Of course he wants to “research” far away from all those demon hunters who can see right through him because all the big demons he was hiding behind are all gone now.
Borrowed the vindicarr and went to find the seat of the pantheon to you know, bring illidan home.
Actually… I don’t really recall Khadgar ever going on the vindicarr to argus, he just disappeared after ToS right…?
He is in Karazhan hoping to first research Medivh’s ancient texts then with the knowledge find Medivh and get help on saving Azeroth. Since Medivh flew into Netherspace that means Khadgar is flying around in the general direction Medivh headed until he reaches Medivh.
Who knows how long it will be until he reaches him.
