I was having loads of fun until this 
, I even broke my FF14 addiction since the buff has been active but it doesn’t seem like anyone’s remotely trying to fix it at this point, and I hate that because I was enjoying myself daily after work, back to the 14 I guess, thanks guys you gave me entertainment for some months.

It’s incredible how Blizzard doesn’t see that the process of leveling a character up to level 80 is just too long and grueling, especially before one can even start enjoying the endgame content. I’m seriously considering canceling my subscription until Cataclysm, or maybe I won’t return to the game at all. I just can’t justify spending so many hours leveling up again. It’s not just about playing; it’s about balancing our love for the game with our busy lives.

It is not grueling by any stretch of the imagination. There is nothing grueling about WoW. Between heirlooms and rested XP it is easy enough to level without it but JJ does help and make it nicer.
Threating to cancel your sub over JJ seems a bit dramatic.

I hope not! I will for now stop leveling because until they properly inform us about what is going on every effort will be less rewarded lol
Leveling is “fine” if you’re a class that can tank/heal it sucks for the rest tho… alot less xp from monsters and quests in the open world…

For those that are choosing to die on the hill of “JJ is unnecessary” or “Go play classic”, your position is completely irrelevant. This thread exists because a feature that was in the game was removed in error and there is a lack of communication from the developers and support staff. As a software developer that has done contract work in the gaming industry, this type of bug should be an easy fix and the time it’s taking to simply update us is unacceptable. Granted, I’ve never worked for blizzard and I don’t know their code base, but the fact that it was implemented in a working condition, and a patch (which I would assume they have a changelog for) broke it, should mean that doing a hotfix would be a relatively simple task as you would know exactly what code changed between A & B.
It feels like the support staff are not responding because the dev’s are too busy fixing the CF of SoD bugs and we’re left to get development scraps.

If you are/were a software developer, then you’d also know that one size does not fit all, and nothing is as easy as the customer wants to believe it is.
You’re the kind of customer IT does not like.

I know one size does not fit all, but I know these types of issues and what spawns them. Again, I don’t know their specific code base, but I’ve encountered -plenty- of features that were broken due to patches. I understand the process that goes into fixing it. I understand the complexity of the feature that is JJ. It may take a couple days if they’re swamped- that’s fine. But they should COMMUNICATE that.

When in doubt roll back the patch and figure out the problem.

Yeah no it’s not opinions, it’s facts, it’s correcting people spewing misinformation and throwing fits like children over a version of the game they hate playing, since they are on forums crying 90% of the time for insane things.
Crying because you don’t have a 50xp buff that blizzard extended, which they didn’t have to, is insanity…it’s been up for like 4 months now, it got bugged, they said they are working on it, but you people still throw fits like 12 year olds and cry cry cry cry
people are sick and tired of entitled brats whining and crying 24/7. Absolutely insane behavior. JJ is still active inside BGS and RDF, it’s just broken in open world…it’s not even removed.
