Cause I’m totally clueless. Anyone have a reliable client they use?
Wowup.io or Ajour
I’m still one to use curseforge, but some friends mentioned wowup as the replacement (could be wrong though).
I just download them from curse, never used twitch
You get them from websites such as curseforge or wowinterface but you maintain them with wowup.io or https://www.getajour.com/
You can also get them from within those apps but discoverability is garbage ATM.
overwolf?

/bonk!
how is a client like overwolf which is in beta reliable?
People are skeptical af about Overwolf, they have a horrible history.
I use wowup[.]io, it’s by default better if you use addons from multiple websites (like Elv/Tuk).
Elvui can go walk in a nova imo. -.-
CurseForge App is working just fine.
I’ve been using wowup for some time.
I can pull all of mine off Curseforge in less than ten minutes. And that’s like 12 addons.
I sad to say am an add on addict.
Another for wowup.
id just put my addon folder on desktop and use the site
I’ve been using it since the Alpha and it works great.
I’ve been trialing the Curseforge Overwolf beta client.
It gracefully quits when you ask it to exit.
Exits Overwolf as well.
If you set it to not open at start up then it removes itself from the startup item list
I’ve done multiple malware bytes and anti-virus scans. The Malware bytes team received a few complaints about Overwolf but they all look to be false positives - the posts have the malware bytes team replying to it and it doesn’t come up in scan so I’ll have to assume they investigated the software and didn’t find anything untoward in it.
Also a major minecraft mod maker had some talks about how they could distribute their addons via Overwolf. The Overwolf team agreed to do an independent security analysis the results of which should be interesting
I have 64
