It’s not so much a change but if the story for the next expansion insults my intelligence and has us doing things for incredibly dumb reasons. I play mainly because of a close friendship I have. If that were to ever go I’d probably be gone because I’d no longer have a reason to play.
What’s wrong with a farmer mog? I like those. 
I watched Mythic Quest on Apple TV, it’s comedy about a MMO game company, and that’s something that gets addressed and becomes a major turning point for two of the main characters.
Spoilers below
Summary
The creator of the game and his right hand lady decide to leave the company because what they desire to make can’t be built into the game. It literally breaks the game. It was interesting them also realizing the game was no longer theirs. It was for others to carry on.
You know there are so many things I don’t care about in a game until they start changing them. Like the big love rocket didn’t mean anything to me until they talked about changing it. Like that was mild humor at best like a fart joke. I might chuckle on the right day.
The thing is the day people start telling me that’s offensive and it becomes annoying. It’s a distraction from the game. But then I start thinking more about it and, it snowballs to me getting mad because Blizzard aren’t catering to the player base. They’re virtue signaling to social media in hopes people will side with them on an unrelated issue.
It’s such a small and insignificant thing. It would be better to leave things like this alone and just let me play the game imo. If you want to quit a game because a painting at the inn with less pixels than my bracer mog depicts an attractive Lass(by traditional western standards). Then, you probably should have quit the game awhile ago.
I don’t know what my line is. I hope I never find out.
Love the outfit. Made me want to put on my skimpy set which is also good for showing the tatts’. Anyway, this is a perfect statement for my feelings:
It is almost like slowly squeezing a tube of toothpaste. You can never go back and they will keep going until everything is gone, environment and players (though the later will likely happen much sooner)
I don’t have one.
To me, when compared to:
- the bugs
- the removal of content
- switching zone progression to scaling
- adding lore breaking race/class combos
- the level squish
- the broken rewards caused by the level squish
- making open world content irrelevant with the quick leveling gains
- switching the time-played from questing/leveling to repetitive endgame content
- on-rails questing
- time gating story
The things you named are just confetti.

Yeah keep nerfing PVP trinkets that are MADE FOR PVP!!!
PVP trinket to unfreeze yourself but somehow rogues can disable your pvp trinket.
I’m sick of all of the politically correct crap. Unfortunately wow has gotten on the bandwagon. Next will be a transgender race.

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm at the players (like myself) who want flying from day one or at Blizzard or both.

I couldn’t agree more. I feel a Wow death is going to happen shortly. Loss of subs = loss of revenue. And thats not from the sub fee alone but from the game store for each sub lost.
WoW is going to Tank hard. 
If they get rid of the skimpy mogs.
I’m a cloth wearer…and I have 0 good looking robes and 0 pointy hats to choose from.
Like…why can’t the art team make simple cloth robes and colored staves?
Create a solid colored stave…and have inscriptionists use their inks in order to change the solid color to another solid color.

That’s what really bothers me, the fact that it “could” have so many more quality years left, and has brought me so much enjoyment over the years. It has just been such a trend of self sabotage over the last few years, that I truly don’t understand the logic of it. Going back to WOTLK, that’s your template, quit going further away from that!!

But I don’t understand anything. What the heck Blizzard is doing in the game?
look that’s 2 rivalry next to them, and this time they are much stronger than they were in the 2000’s due to the fact that I liked WoW as they killed of its so-called WoWkillers.
But here in this decade the thing is serious, and I see that it would not be right for now not to play the same play in which his competitors do or ignoring this threat which was one of the reasons for the MMO to have its Quit moment effect (especially FFXIV and your contrariness that makes it become a hypocrite to your new regulations in this times).
- Blizzard ran out of ideas in a gameplay system from what I see
- 9.1.5 is going to be temporary despite the fact that together with WotLK (although I would like an ICC TW Raid), LEgion TW would be my second favorite although I would also like Artifact weapon to be activated skills effects only by TW Legion Dungeons and in the Mage Tower.
- and along with Sylvanas’s bad lore and bad game system of the covenants and Thorgast is given little hope that Shadowlands will at least be a well-remembered expansion and not as it was with WoD and BfA or worse that’s it.
And the worst of evils is that he is focusing on ridiculous censorship of portraits not very well pixelated thanks for the Vanilla times, and that they forgot the goblin calendar of that sexy goblin in a bikini, but not for adding fuel to the fire, I say What if it was totally ridiculous while it is not enough what they will fix in the next patch.
And not to mention the previous devs who were the cause of this scandal, they already left the company and what?..
They left the company, nothing was known about the lawsuit, and only instead I was laughing in the face because in the end they only looked for the community itself and its games responsible in order to cover their image of the company and not of those affected.
I would also dislike being full of spam threads from the same thread, as it was weeks ago about LGBT’s spam threads.
But I fear that more is hurting the integrity of the game and makes you fear that they are not thinking correctly about improving the quality of the game itself.
Without forgetting that within our community they only focus on the trend of CANCEL CULTURE with their excuse that they give CONSCIENCE knowing the failures of entertainment when they only dedicate themselves to making politics and not free and unlimited art like this stupid warlock and your censor Succubi Thread.
That would be the limit of the problem, that you do not limit in making quality in the game as gameplay and lore the same for politics that is poisoning society more and more instead of feeling free of ourselves.
If they nerf nakedness in my favorite video game I think I’ll live.
