Of course you can access them, they are EXACTLY where you left them. Those realms became TBC then Wrath. Era was not available when you left so your characters were never in Era.
If you are going to complain at least get your facts right.
We all know you want back because Era is popping. You regret your choice to advance with the expansions. Now you want the equivalent of a fully geared 60 boost.

Yes, this happened to me too. I left for a long time, came back to find all my characters gone and were moved to WoTLK. Never intended to play WoTLK and still dont. Many of us are trying to ask blizzard to return the cloning service to have our characters who are lvl 60 with vanilla items/gear that never participated in TBC or WoTLK to allow them to be recopied back to Vanilla Classic. If enough people bring it to their attention it could happen. Its the only shot we have.

Man, I was confused as heck too. There is a lot of drop downs on the launcher. One of them is cataclysm now. I haven’t installed that. I just started playing anniversary classic though. But I never made it to TBC classic the first go around had some stuff come up irl.
Idk why everyone is being so aggressive but they should just choose to not reply to your thread. Sorry for their behavior. When I launched into classic, I had characters, well numbers(#) on various realms under one of the tabs, but when I clicked they never showed up. And the numbers disappeared after. I just ignored it, as I don’t need to play them. I wouldn’t worry about it though.
They restarted classic fresh ignore the forums, its nothing but the casual imbeciles. Log check people on warcraft logs before taking any opinion here seriously(yes mine as well.)
