How does that work?
I believe you get the 60% mount which implies the quest for that mount is also done. You will have to do the epic mount quest.
I thought I read on the forums that the paladin and warlock 100% mounts become purchaseable from their respective class trainers at level 61, once the WotLKC pre-patch drops. However, I may have read that incorrectly, and have no first hand knowledge on the matter.
Oh I hope so.
Gotta learn how to play a Warlock now lol.
There’s no 40 mount quest, you just learn it off your trainer. Did you mean the 60 dreadsteed?
If you boost a warlock to 58, you get the L40 already trained because it’s a spell you learn. At 60 you still need to do the quest.
However the requirement for the quest is removed in wrath, it becomes a trainable spell as well. So when the prepatch drops and they’re selling L70 boosts I would expect the L60 epic mount to be available as well.
They are selling level 70 boosts?
Most likely, they will. They def will do the same Mount Boost bundle they did with BC and they’ll cash out large with it like they did back then.
They said they will with wrath, and at that point epic class mounts will be on the trainers. The annoying quests will no longer be necessary.
I think you still get an achievemnment for doing the pala/lock questline before wotlk murdered it, could be wrong.
Love those quests, so much RPG flavor.
the quests still exist in wotlk, they just aren’t required. I don’t think the quests are actually gone until cata
