Why not? People take paternity and maternity leave all the time. I will do anything within reason for my digital babies.

They aren’t going to let you reserve names. They didn’t for the Fresh Start servers, or Eranikus.
They aren’t going to tell you anything until the server is online, just like with Eranikus where they spun the server up and THEN announced it as a free transfer destination.
They gave us a heads up on when the fresh Start servers would open.
But you were not given the opportunity to reserve names.
By reserve I mean be the first to get the name. If they give heads up than most of us will constantly refresh hoping they open them slightly early. I got the name Donald and peacemaker on skyfury that way.
If they open a PvP realm on us east… I will be very happy
They might. Or they’ll focus on populating the already existing low and medium pop servers. We’ll have to see. Lord knows whatever they do, they ain’t doing it fast enough.
I wouldn’t expect anything approaching reasonable communication though. Blizzard doesn’t know the meaning of the phrase.
With a name like Dumbman, can you blame him?? You definitely have to take off work to reserve a name that cool.

Whatever random time and day during Blizzard work hours they decide to cave to make a new fresh server for the Skyfury people, or whenever Eranikus fills up and they neglect the realms that need people again and make another new one. The new server will show up and then at some point later there will be a blue post.
Take the next 4 weeks off and sit in front of your computer when the Blizzard employees are at work Monday - Friday if you want to adjust to that.
I can’t do that, I work retail. I do not get much time off.
