No offense but raids/dungeons getting kinda boring after doing them for 20 years.
can we like… get something fresh for once?

There’s no way they can produce enough content for us to not consume in a couple weeks. No way to produce that volume and not screw something up along the way.
Your best bet is to play some other titles until the new content drops.
No other entertainment form yields days to weeks of content (measured by hours) for this price.
Thats what the game is… I think end game is perfectly fine… what we actually do need is new world content OUTSIDE of the “pillars”.
World quests and not rare “rares” farming are over a decade old and aren’t engaging in the least. The little mini activities are a start but don’t have much repeatability
hello sir furry. i dont think this answer pertains to the question?
i was wondering about new content that is something bsides raids / dungeons… not wondering about how long new content will last.
thank you
The game built around raids and dungeons is getting new raids and dungeons
Kinda… weird to expect otherwise
well hey. the game is dying. its getting old.
if yall r happy with the same boring raids and dungeons re-skinned every 6 months… thats cool…
i dont think this forumla for success will hold up much longer
well the current devs think sitting in m+ 24/7 is all a mmorpg needs to be fun, nothing is going to change until they are changed.
Pretty much every major patch and some minor patches add new zones or repurpose old zones. Not sure what “new content” you’re looking for
maybe something besides those things that we get every single time?
thats kind of the point of this thread?
am i talking to a bunch of NPCs?
WoW is, at it’s core, a game about raiding. It always has been.
Well, they tried many times:
Garrisons
Mage Tower
Argus invasion points
Pet Battle Dungeons
Warfronts
Island Expeditions
Visions of N’Zoth
Torghast
Primalist Future
Only Mage tower and was successful. Players complained about the rest.
Next Patch we will receive the Time Rifts. Lets see if the players will like it this time.
Edit: I forgot Brawler’s guild, this was also a sucessful feature, but removed.
So you want something besides new raids, dungeons, or zones…
Perhaps you’re playing the wrong game genre
Their answer does pertain to the post, basically they are saying that Blizzard couldn’t put out enough non-instanced content to keep people occupied.
That said, I personally disagree, we already have seen some nice fun non-instanced world content done, though unfortunately often in limited fashion (sniffen seeking being limited to a certain number of times), and I would love to see more evergreen/repeatable world content besides world quests and rare hunting.
His point, Sir Dragon, is that “new content” is short lived, whereas dungeons/raids have replay-ability. They could use the time they spend making dungeons to add another zone and quests instead, but that would be completed in a matter of hours and then people would flock to the forums complaining of nothing to do. It behooves Blizz to create Dungeons/Raids because that’s what people do, and they can spend hours upon hours doing it. More bang for the buck.
Aside from that, the last time they tried adding “fresh new content” it was Garrisons and Pet Battles and both were big flops. People may collect pets and do pet achievements and world quests, but try queueing for a random pet battle these days. It’s longer than a raid queue for a lone DPS. The “Fresh new content” hasn’t worked out so well for them thus far.
I am not sure what kind of open world content will keep people interested for an entire season, especially with no AP or “forced grind” or anything like that. People seem to hate renown and any kind of reputation grind too so that’s off the table.
Define “new content”. Do you mean, like, something completely previously non-existing like Dragon Races or Pet Battles…or…?
The only thing I can think of is player housing (not garrisons, but done well). I spend more time decorating homes on ESO than I do on anything else. I took up crafting specifically to make housing items, I do delves and such specifically to find recipes and furnishings for houses. I only do dungeons and raids to get the trophies to put in my house. Literally housing is my end game in ESO and it is what gets me to do everything else in the game.
Maybe you’re just tired of the game?
May be a dungeon suggestion, but Scenarios were cool in Mists of Pandaria.
bro I am perfectly fine spamming the same dungeon for 2 years straight lmao
