When will restore character feature be reenabled?

It has been a month since this feature was disabled, is there a date in mind when it will be turned back on? A bit ridiculous that the feature had to be disabled in order for Warbands to go live with no workaround or CS fix to help those that need to restore characters.

The blues wont have a answer they know about the same time we do.

but the blues unlike the players have access to blizz resources and personnel, there needs to be an answer to this.

But they dont have the answers if there was a announcement it wouldve been posted by now.

To put it bluntly: It’d enabled when the Devs see it fit. They don’t give ETAs as folks forget what the E stand for that.

Not all blues are equal, meaning they all don’t have access to all information. Even if some blues do, not all are authorized to speak publically about it.

If the information was not announced publicly already they would not be permitted to post it either.

regardless, some communication on this would be nice, i spent $90 on a prelaunch expansion just to be unable to play my main characters. its unacceptable at this point.

They have communicated and said that GMS wont be able to restore and theres no ETA so people have to be patient.

I don’t disagree, however, there may not be anything to communicate.

If the devs themselves are still working it out, they may not even know when it will possibly be back up.

and thats unacceptable. if the character restore feature was a showstopper for implementing the warbands, they should have fixed it. instead, they prioritize their profits at the dismay of the players who this negatively impacts because they can live with these complaints because going live with the expansion is more important to them. there at least should have been a workaround or something implemented.

There isn’t something that we have, Goonrage, sorry.

We hope to have the Character Undelete option available as soon as it can be, but we don’t have an estimate on when that is outside of, when it is safe to do so.
