I’m happy with my dragon boi hunter. So can’t complain, not that I had a care about playable High elves.
But, only thing I CAN see them doing is MAYBE adding even more high elf customizations to void and blood elves. Adding the SAME EXACT RACE in the blood elves, but making them alliance and coloring them blue is kinda dumb when you think about
Something being dumb is not a good enough reason for Blizzard to abstain from doing it.
Like Void Elves to begin with.
IF we have to have High Elves added to the game and Blizzard is dead set on them looking like Blood/Void Elves, I’d rather they just merged those two races and made them neutral. Cut down the carbon-copy options in character creation. Unfortunately, that’s not how the current character creation is really set up, so there’s not much reason to change it (again, not an indication Blizzard won’t do so, as they’ve done weirder things).
At least void elves, when customized with all the void options, are visually distinct from the blood elves. High elves are just blood elves with a different political view. There’s absolutely NOTHING special about them otherwise.
Not really. Unless they’re naked and/or don’t have the head slot missing, you’re not likely to notice until entropic embrace pops.
Nightborne at least got made to look different from Night Elves, although in their case that was a downgrade. I didn’t think Blizzard could downgrade from male night elves, but they proved me wrong.
These should be ACTUAL void mutations. Tentacle growths, extra eyes (although again, covered by armor), arms that are massive lobster claws, maws replacing shoulders (shoulder transmog sadly disabled), long tentacle beards, and most importantly of all, a different STANCE.
Aside from tentacles in their hair that look like they got picked up from the floor of the Exodar barbershop, there really isn’t anything VOID-themed about Void Elves in the surface. Such a mistake of a race on every level.
gonna respectfully disagree here; there are of course some void elves who wear full mogs, and i also wish they got cooler void vfx, but i don’t think they’re hugely visually similar aside from sharing a skeleton. they could have been customization options for blood elves, yeah, but i don’t think that means they lack visual identity. i will agree they were a mistake tho.
Yes, the Silver Covenant are a full on militant hate group.
I don’t get why it’s those specific high elves they want so badly when there are other groups around(Kirin Tor, various ranger lodges, Outland high elves, etc.)
But I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that the people who want blonde, blue eyed, and pure elves are ok with the militant hate group.
It is a pattern. Vereesa fed her followers anti blood elf racism and it sticks til now. I am glad I chose the elf race that compromises and isn’t fixated on serving humans.
Players from the ‘7 flavours of human’ faction are surprised when the 8th flavour of human is added. More news at 8
Just mog.
These would A. Be covered by mog as well; or B. Clip through the armour, which would cause people to be annoyed because it looks jarring. Though I agree with you that it would be super cool.
Pretty sure she fed them Anti-Horde racism - which she has always had… since like the very first Warcraft Novel. Blood Elves got splash damage when they decided to join the Horde.
You kind of made it sound like the blood elves deserved a purge. Something I have seen alot around here. I simply hate seeing Vereesa walk around in freedom considering all the messed up stuff she did and Midnight might makes it worse in concede Lor’themar acting like they forget about it and welcomed her without being hostile.
