Good writing in an MMO is just harder to do, even when Metzen was in charge there were some gaping plotholes, but nothing like the SL and other stories we’ve gotten recently.
Was it still sort of a mess? Yeah, was it THAT bad? Meh.
they still have to be qualified, right?
No. They clearly aren’t.
But whoever is in charge of hiring probably isn’t qualified either. So there ya go.

stories already off to a bad start with what they did to my girl.
WoW’s story was never Tolkien but Metzen at least respected the characters and the players. Even if he was terribly Horde biased.
It has just been a mess since he left. First you had that guy that used to sleep with his Sylvanas plushy and now you have folks that don’t care about the characters at all other than using them as a vehicle to voice their agenda.
I’ll take Metzen and his plotholes any day over what we have had since.

With these writers? Never.
I cant forgive them for making me hate chromie. She was on of my favorites characters but they make a 10000+ old dragon to talk and behave like a baby.

No, it’s not the most interesting thing I can think up. It’s what I can think up in 5s that is better than what they thought up with their team of writers. Which is the problem. They don’t even need to be good writers, they could use simple ideas like this and do better than they are doing. They are almost comically committed to being terrible.

Is it really better or is it just that you think it’s better? Because Garrosh 2.0 is significantly more boring and uninspired than the nonsense they tried in Shadowlands.

In fact, this is the point, liberals believe that these characteristics you mentioned belong to unqualified people, which is why, for example, Disney doesn’t hire them.
Probably is the same case in blizzard, considering product quality.

Equality guidelines: you can’t take skin color or gender into account when hiring, only credentials.

I didn’t know the credentials required was about poor writing and bad character development and design.

How much I miss her.
We stuck together through thick and thin and grew together from small to large. I remember how great it was to complete missions together with Cata and MoP, especially in the Horde.
Blizzard was able to do more back then than it can now…
Sad how they treated him. But I guess since his counterpart is dead, Blizzard didn’t need him, which is a shame. If he has to die, please do it more honorably and epically!
This was probably also because a lot of things were cut out in WoD.
Hes asking when are we going to get writing/story design anywhere close to as good as we got in WC3.
The answer is probably never unless some drastic personnel changes are made

I dont think any new character could survive todays "fan"base. 
In the Kosh’harg we meet many orcs that can be used in the story. Of course, it’s a shame how many have died in the past, because Blizzard couldn’t think of anything better.
But Blizzard needs new characters since they killed a lot of them for no reason. It would be a start, but unfortunately I don’t see it because stupid Thrall is always there. Examples include orcs such as Nazgrel, Jorin, Rexxar, Ariok, Shokia, Gorgonna (Fenris, Tagar), etc
