When was the last time you saw a Blue

You forgot the “/s” right?

I can concede that a small part is on the customers, but lack of moderation is how it got completely out of control like we see today.

None of what is commonplace here would be tolerated for a minute on the EQ board, as an example.

Op,that…it’s been a long time for sure.

Oh geesh, airlock people reminds me of a space station ,place them in side and open the door, sweesh ,gone.

Oh, they absolutely do have other duties. For awhile it seemed like we had a handful that would regularly visit the forums though. And then they left and the behavior I described started.

And then we have today – where there’s none here at all outside of the absolute bare minimum.

Because blizz cares as much for customer service and they do their customers.

None.
None at all.

Glad to see Im not alone in noticing the change.

It was always nice to see a blue post in a random thread and just chat with us about thing that werent WoW related.

Gave the impression that Blizzard hadnt completely transformed into a soulless corporation, that there were still some humans left at the company.

Guess they made enough money for Bobby that they could drop that facade and treat us like how they see us, a subscription and nothing more.

I dont hate you Blizzard, I dont hate you WoW but I mourn you. I mourn what you were and what you are no longer able to be thanks to American corporate greed. I feel bad for Blizz employees. I could only imagine how awesome it must have been to end up with a job at the company, to likely be a gamer who got their shot at the holy grail… only to have the curtains pulled back and see the rotting corpse that pulls the puppet strings.

Ill pour one out for what you were.

Ah, that is true.

It is a maximum density problem, I think. When these games were young, not anywhere near as successful, they had more time to interact as well.

Yes. There was a time when I was “jealous” of green texts, then I rapidly was not

It would be nice if they posted more and just started handing out lengthy suspensions for posters when they start chiming in to fire people, buying bobby yachts, or whining about how the game is dead. There’d be no use for the CC section if they’d get rid of these people.

None of that nonsense is productive discussion, it serves no purpose, and it’s not constructive criticism.

There are many good threads that are swamped and ruined by these posters.

I both agree here and disagree. Concern trolling is very much a thing. However there is a line where it comes off as removing anyone “critical” of Blizzard. These individuals you speak of don’t have honest or well meant criticism, they are just trolling. However it still opens up Blizz to accusations that they won’t allow negative posts - which is the whole point of the trolls. Troll until they get removed, then complain they got “silenced”.

Odd little line to walk and it reminds me even more why I am glad I don’t have mod powers. I would probably remove people with a history of being just plain concern trolls. Blizz is nicer than I am about it.

I find though, that just having a Blue or even a Green around and active who kind of sets a tone can prevent a lot of it without even needing to action accounts.

A good :eyes: :pouting_cat: can have a reasonable impact.

So does :pie: and :coffee:

I’d have to just remove them and be done with it, sure they’d catch some criticism about it but after a while that would quiet down, too. They can’t make everyone happy.

There are other large mmorpg forums where I can think of that they remove those posters. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The community and playerbase is better off without these people, imo.

Learning a new phrase is always a good way to start off the New Year.:slightly_smiling_face:

If the intent is actually concern wouldn’t a simple warning, or whatever vernacular fits best, be a constructive way to determine intent?

Sometimes a subtle reminder is all that’s needed stop the would be pot-stirrers before it turns into, well this.

Just today, I went to Bastion and saw many Kyrian… lotsa blues everywhere.
