If anything they can be like sharing war stories. Some of the mounts, you know what the person had to suffer through to get that. I see it like sharing old war stories about the ‘scars’ you now have. Like those immortal achievements, or the crusader’s black warhorse.

Even pvp mounts aren’t that impressive when you know you can just buy a carry. Hell im more impressed by someone getting Mimirons Head after years and years of farming it than i am by pvp mounts. At least that requires patience and dedication, unlike putting your credit card info into a sketchy site and handing over your account for some korean dude to spam arenas for two weeks

I just assume people have these mounts to show off because they are rare. May be an equal chance but still more rare than others. Some people care about that, such is life.
Unless you mean people are going around demanding attention and saying notice my prestige or something, that’s really weird but people are strange…

Honestly most people dont really care about other players transmog, mounts, achievements etc but pvp mounts as a whole are very easy to get besides the glad mounts. Getting a glad mount isnt necesarily hard but you can’t just outright buy a boost to get one like you can with mythics because at that level of play its pretty hard to get 100% carried so you need to show some competence if you were to get boosted. Vicious saddles though are probably easier to get then some of the past raid 1% mounts lol
