When is WW getting meaningful nerfs?

They should use cds and they won’t die.

I’ve been playing at around 2100 mmr with my buds this xpac when we can actually link up, but I’m glad you could look me up. I don’t hide behind a level 10 to call other people bad.

There are, but there’s a few things that get tossed into this. Brought this up earlier in the thread.

One of the big things is consistency. WW’s damage during there goes is huge. They have the ability to quickly setup their go, while tossing out a 20 yd range instant cc. They setup their own damage with a stun as well.

Sure, lots of specs have huge damage, but it’s how you can react to that damage. WW is one of the few specs I see consistently killing people from 50-60% or higher in under a second.

Like this one this one from yesterday. Probably the most damage I have seen in .1s this season… 247k in .2s from one player. Pretty nuts to say the least.

Damage overall, during burst, for a lot of specs needs to be looked at.

Personally the only healer that should be around that 20 yard range is evoker. Otherwise you see them roll in that direction and know to expect their go and prep CC.

Yeah why it’s good to not get both DPS stacking.

I see a ton of specs doing and IMO it depends on what class you’re playing that certain ones feel hopeless to stop. You often are reliant on your team mate.

Also yes, it appears originally unholy festering wound had some bug so I didn’t use any of the SS’s I had. But the fact that they can pop 5-6 wounds on top of other abilities in some insane burst. Often the problem is targets don’t die unless you burst them that hard in dampening and from near half health.

Sure, on paper that’s what you should do, but the game doesn’t always play out that way.

Lots of specs have good damage, but most have plenty of precursors. Even outside of serenity, WW is still pumping.

Seem to mostly have to do with play style. Almost every class, when choosing talents has a specific rotation for burst damage. Monks get 30% Fist boost from 4 set, and rising sun kick with blackout kick gives another 30% boost to Fists. Not to mention there is a damage boost for not repeating skills over and over. But not everyone knows how to play monk.

Same goes for all other specs. BM hunter, as the OP is, Should look into addons so he knowns whats coming… Trap, Intimidation, blocks fist, Karma and so forth… The right stats and the right pet for those stats gives you an edge… Most ppl think it’s all cunning pets, maybe if you have more mastery, but ferocity pets do even more dmg, but you need hast + cit…

Learn what your talents are, what skills buff others and learn defense… And get an addon or weakaura so you know what the enemy is about to do… Not really hard…

This thread isn’t about me dying. As I have said many, many times already. The examples I’m providing are mostly of OTHER people dying. Quite a few of them are with me on the same team as the WW.

I get it’s a lot to read, but these responses are pretty pointless. =/

Also, I just don’t get responses like this. Do you have such a high level of experience that you can say what is and isn’t hard?

Legitimately not trying to be rude, but shouldn’t you at least have a moderate level of experience to say that?

If you’re dying outside of serenity you’re trolling or your healers trolling.

I don’t know about that, RSK after Fist of Fury is kill shot lvl dmg every time regardless of Serenity being used or not.

I remember suffering through a double hunter vs melee game with you on Blades Edge awhile back. How’s the shuffles on surv been? I’ve heard nothing but bad things from my surv friends lol

haha. yea good times. Blades Edge can either be really good or really awful.

RSS is all all over the place for SV. I have plenty of 6-0 and then 0-6 the very next round and vice versa.

The more diverse the queues, the better. I realize that’s probably true for everyone, but I have been getting a lot of the same specs over and over. The holy pali meta is annoying and boring. Not enough offensive dispels. BoP needs a rework if it’s going to keep two charges. Too many defensive abilities that allow players to stay completely offensive.

SV feels pretty balanced overall. I’d much rather see a few others specs get some tuning then doing anything to SV atm. Plenty of games I’m popping both RoS and SotF and still dying through them. SotF needs to offer more reduction if talented OR have a much longer duration. 6s of 40% damage reduction, with talent, on a 3 minute CD? Useless. OR… make it useable in a stun. Needs something. With half the offensive CDs being 10-20s or longer, 6s is almost useless.

All in all, fun spec, though frustrating at times. :smiley:

Feels. MM is the same way. Hunter as a whole is really rock paper scissors in shuffle rn. I legit would trade some damage for better defensives. Just tune some we already have with reduced CD or turtle in stun. I dunno.

They just need to function better imo.

Turtle should IMMEDIATELY stop all incoming damage that isn’t a dot and interrupt any channeled damage on the hunter. Stuff in the air or that hits the hunter late because of lag or animation bs or w/e… Turtle needs to be more reliable considering it’s a long CD, prevents us from doing any damage, and we have to be out of CC to use.

SotF needs to be reworked. Longer duration or shorter CD and probably increase its damage reduction. With changes to crit, RoS isn’t nearly as good as it was in the past. Just a completely unreliable CD in the current season.

There are too many dps that are just completely off the table as target most games. Be nice if they could even that out some.

Edit: It’s funny, just watched the hunter in AWC die after using turtle. He used it way late, but still funny. Such a worthless defensive.

It does get old being the clear target in 90% of games.

There’s always mixing it up by playing something that’s the target 1% of the time.

Hunters literally have roar of sac for EVERY keefers go on them.
