They needed Blood Elves, in particular they needed the Windrunner family. They would have been around by then.

An Arthas / Sylvanas movie, if done right, could be outstanding.

Streaming services, Yuck !!! You find seven different shows you think you might like to see and they are on seven different streaming services.

Streaming services, the worst thing to happen to television since they thought up the sitcom.

This would probably be better so they can tell stories rather than cram a bunch of things into a 90 minute film where people not as familiar with the story are left scratching their heads.

after the bloodbath they took on the first one. I canā€™t imagine theyā€™re in the mood to do another one. If anything they might partner with Amazon and try to do some sort of limited CGI series the way Lord of the rings was done or maybe even Halo with Paramount+.

Probably not going to happen at this point. I liked the first one just fine. Not groundbreaking, but I have seen worse.

Warcraft is a clump of disjointed stories without much continuity. Just seems really hard to make a movie franchise out of it. Trying to draw a straight line from Medhiv to Arthas would be very clunky, especially for a general audience of people just trying to watch a half decent movie.

A TV series would probably work better, but still seems really hard to translate.

The problem was we had been hearing and seeing fan and studio made posters for a World of Warcraft movie as far back as 04 and 06.

Took forever to get a solid-ish studio on board that didnā€™t back out before it was done.

The add in when it did hit the numbers werenā€™t there. Domestically it kind of flopped but did better overseas. Having Blood Elves in the movie would not have changed that.

Considering the first movie was a bomb, most likely never. And honestly, Iā€™d prefer them to make an animated series similar to Arcane. Much easier to tell a narrative as long running as the Warcraft universe in a serial format.

It really should have followed the lore proper. It really didnā€™t do well. I dont feel live action fits wow really, it would be better as CGI like the cutscenes. Like the final fantasy movie. Lol

I watched the trailer and the live action just completely turned me off of it. Iā€™ve never watched it beyond a few trailers that make me cringe a little bit.

It was a descent movie just other than gulā€™dan being recognizable everything else about it could literally have been any other fantasy movie and wouldnā€™t really have noticed it as world of Warcraft. It felt kind of generic.
