yeah! like shadowmeld being the best racial by far in the game, and dwarf, human, velf, gnome being most of the top after that.
And this extra 40% bonus the alliance gets, really bringing them down.
ok, tbh, what really brings the alliance down is so many players like the op. It’s so much better to play on the faction that doesn’t macro and keybind emotes and make ignorant posts like this.
Lets see here, in my first 6 hours of shadowlands questing…
Bolvar does some talking, although I struggle to call him an “Alliance Character” right now.
Anduin and Jaina do things in the first scenario, all the while with Thrall and Baine. Still not seeing the “Alliance campaign” Unless you’re one of those people who insist Baine is an Alliance character. I guess Anduin does a thing so like… one point alliance?
Then you jump into Bastion which is entirely neutral. I honestly struggle to think of even a passerby NPC that’s really a part of either faction.
Then you jump into Maldraxxus and hang out with Thrall’s mom.
Most of the maw intro is us acknowledging how amazing Jaina is, how she’s a strong independant woman that need help from no man (except we have to rescue her still).
Then we do a bunch of stuff at her command, help out 2 Horde leaders who are made out to be impotent, incompetent and whiny. Then we talk about how worried we are about Tyrande. Then we try and escape the maw with Jaina’s help, only for Anduin to save the day and help us escape.
Then we go to Bastion where the focal point of the conflict in the whole zone is another Alliance character (Uther).
All the while the weekly Torghast quests are about rescuing more Alliance war criminals where I’d be happy to let them burn.
horde bias doesnt matter because in the end it all returns to nothing
the world ends and the universe ends
because of entropy and @#$!
horde and alliance will be equal in the end
Tyrande was mentioned like once, maybe twice. It’d be more natural if she wasn’t adressed at all.
Baine wasn’t made out to be whiny at all, you could make the argument for Thrall but I still don’t really see it as some “Big issue” and more as just a bit of lighthearted humor in the middle of all the doom and gloom.
Also you directly contradicted your own point in the parenthesis, but sure.
A character who isn’t mentioned by name the entire time questing. Unless you watched the short, you wouldn’t even know Uther was in Bastion till the covenant chain.
This is like claiming Shadowlands is a horde expansion because Sylvanas caused it.
You main a blood elf don’t you?
Cause generally when I see these levels of horde cringe, it’s made by a blood elf.
Following that logic, Uther isn’t an alliance character because he never joined the modern alliance. In fact, as a paladin of lordaeron, he should be considered horde.
How about we don’t use that argument? Cause that argument is dumb.
Kael and Draka are horde characters.
Blizz be sending mixed signals. They make it much more alluring to be Horde in game, meanwhile story wise the Alliance are the Good guys and the Horde the irredeemable monstrosities.
Kael nor Draka ever joined the old Horde either. Kael was off in Outland then died. Draka and Durotan were assassinated for not playing ball with the old Horde. By Guldan’s assassins.
Uther never joined the Alliance of Stormwind, he died up north before it was properly formed.
Although you’re clearly just arguing for argument’s sake. I refuse to believe any rational thinking person could claim Thrall’s Mom isn’t a horde character, Much less the former prince of Blood elves.
When we take complete control over Azshara, contest the Barrens and delete the zone Durotar from the game.
All the while pinning it on one or two of those leaders.
He joined the Alliance of Lordaeron. So did Kael’thas during the third war.
Draka is Thrall’s mom but never joined the Horde. She died when he was a baby.
Kael never served as our Prince while we were Horde. He renamed us Belves, we helped the Alliance, left the Alliance and he went off to Outland. He left Lor’themar as our leader. We then find later that he went wacky and his associations in Outland left Belves enslaved and/or corrupted so we kill him in Tempest Keep. He then is brought back by the Legion. We kill him again in Magister’s terrace.
The one that brought us into the Horde was Sylvanas.
