This game is not fun as Alliance and has not been fun for a long time because this company cannot fix the problems that they have caused on themselves. Many many many years of Horde bias. They could just not be neutral about their development of WoW with two factions, and it has been ruined because of their bias and catering towards the Horde. Horde dominate PvE, Horde dominate PvP. It’s ridiculous.
What happened to the Alliance warmode bonus? It is only 15% now, pathetic, and yet again Horde bias because too many Horde whined about it being 30%. The Alliance cannot have anything good for them in the eyes of the Horde and Blizzard.
Horde win a majority of battlegrounds and epic battlegrounds, statistically way more than Alliance. Why? Because Blizzard gave them better racials.
Speaking of racials, Horde also have better PvE racials now as well, and that is why all hardcore raiding guilds are on Horde. Thanks Blizzard!
The story is also catered towards the Horde. They always mention that their leaders die, yet their leaders are always the main characters and affect Azeroth in some crazy way while the Alliance are like NPCs that have to react. Also, where is the justice for Teldrassil? More Horde bias, they completely look over the heinous crimes of a faction.
Everything about this game caters towards the Horde, and it is sickening. Nothing is fun to do in this game because if you are Alliance, you are the underdog. Everyone just goes to the easymode catered to Horde these days. So boring!
When is this company going to wake up and realize their atrocity of a game is always going to bleed players and not retain any because of the decisions of some stubborn Horde devs in the company? They get a huge influx each expansion, then people leave because of stupid decisions that ruin the game. The Alliance will never have a strong population unless you start making drastic decisions. Otherwise, just rename this game to World of Hordecraft.
Yup, there’ other small things they’ve done here and there to better the horde.
WoD: Tanaan Jungle bases. Our guards had less HP while theirs had BEAST levels hp. Hmmm I wonder why…
Nazjatar bases: Horde bases have GIANT ELITE GUARDS and they respawn constantly. Ours has small fish people that fall over and die, also ours was tiny compared to their cave. They have a clear bias for making better bases for horde and garbage design for alliance to be camped easily with no resistance.
Uldir: Blood elf’s racial was allowed in one fight and never adressed.
Castle Nathrya: Nerfed dwarf’s bleed racial removal cause alliance, why not? The moment alliance get a 1-up in anything we get crushed, but the moment horde have a racial advantage for a fight they whistle and look the other way. And Ion is confirmed to be horde main…that says it all. Easier to be the designer and allow broken stuff for your faction’s side and ignore it since your the boss.
Also Nazjatar: The intro to unlocking WQs was completely different for each side, I know cause I did both and its bias. Alliance had to save some fish people then kill a boss and then they asked you to kill 15 nagas. Horde had to save goblin sea people and then weaken a super easy crab thing to unlock their WQ…hmm 15 nagas+1 boss vs an easy boss fight.
Remember when they nerfed the maw within a week because hordies were getting farmed lmao
So yeah, it’s a shame the devs have no passion for alliance. I had to beg my friend to stay Alliance because his entire guild rerolled horde in SL. Thanks Blizz! And thanks for the dog**** allied races too! They’re an absolute success!
Speaking of allied races, isn’t it funny that Horde got ANOTHER super popular race and Alliance did not?
Like, they complain about the Alliance getting void elves, which they claim to be copies of blood elves, and yet they got Vulpera. Vulpera are becoming an increasingly popular race on the Horde now, where as Alliance? Diaper gnomes and fat humans are not popular at all… dark iron are cool, but not super popular. And our void elves are doing well, but the Horde’s allied races are all really good.
Sorry, you can’t do anything about the bias ,they tried everything possible to bring players to Alliance it just doesn’t work. People made their minds up so we just have to understand free will.
There is no bias. Alliance racial are also better. Win rate in bgs is not a WoW issue, its a player issue. The only thing Alliance got was bad races, but other than that no bias.
Remember that time that the Alliance went off and did something unspeakably evil that resulted in the deaths of their leadership and multiple major lore characters?
It’s pretty obvious they are setting up cross faction play in the next expansion. The storyline will prob take us to a point where that makes sense. The damage of overpowered racials has already been done to the faction split. There’s no real way to get people to go back to alliance barring some insane racial buffs which doesn’t even fix the problem. I prefer alliance races and cities but all my friends are horde and it’s much easier to find groups for things.
I mean you picked the sally do good faction, the one with the least inspiration. The Alliance fits neatly into the same box as always. Bland and boring. You’re last two kings were blander than hospital food. You had an actual chance to be interesting with purging the vulpera but you (alliance) cried about it. So it got changed man.
Rofl? So it’s bias because Alliance is higher, but not high enough in your opinion?
Proof?
Rofl?
20 out of 24 dps specs have an Alliance race as their best race. You’re flat out wrong.
I mean Magni definitely isn’t a Dwarf, Khadgar definitely isn’t a Human, Illidan definitely isn’t a Night Elf, Jaina definitely isn’t a human, and neither is Anduin.
All in game benefits are for Alliance. You’re blind if you can’t see that.
Your issue is with population dynamics not game mechanics.
I too hope for the day the Alliance too to have ALL the bias horde has obtained through the years. Would be nice to sit on the back burner while they soak in the limelight that we have gotten, especially through story and plot and group encounters.
Sometimes, you just gotta switch yards to really see if the (fel) grass is greener on de other side.
Shh… let the Alliance take the lead in the story for a while. They’ve been too stable in leadership and they could use some time being the ‘focus’ of the story.
Honestly, the only thing I really cannot stand is how disjointed the story of the Horde as a faction and the Horde as a PC is. The most egregious example I can think of is the whole Brennendam deal in BfA… where the Horde PC has no clue about any attack on the town while the Alliance PC see’s the Horde literally pinning civilians to the wall with spears.
