Another note: the Oribos portal in Orgrimmar has a special animation associated with it, the one in Stormwind doesn’t. Noone should be surprised really.

I always disconnect going from Org to Oribos. It’s most likely that both are bugs.
The bonus is determined by how many Alliance are marked in WM. If more Alliance are marked up for WM, the bonus drops because the odds are considered to be more fair.
Yes, but honestly just because from the times I’ve played on Alliance, there seems to be less communication and more toxicity. Every time I play my Alliance rogue, it’s always, “Gonna AFK in the tower now.” type of responses.

I actually feel like the Night Fae story in particular is very Alliance-centric. Cannot speak for other covenants.
Unfortunately, that special animation has been guessed to be the cause of the insane number of disconnects players have when portaling.

That’s odd, I haven’t had a portal disconnect on either my horde or alliance toon in over a month. There was one day where going from Oribos to Org/SW would disconnect me…but that was just one day, and there was a lot of server lag all over the place, so it was probably related to one of their DDOS attacks. Never happened after that day.
