At least Stormwind isn’t completely broken for characters that did the BFA intro post-9.0…
There was a PvP event in Krasarang Wilds that had you kill 3 faction-specific rares and taking over faction bases. Defending your own base would give you a good HP and Damage buff for as long as you did not leave. The Horde would get double that buff.
stormheim intro has been bugged for alliance since legion launch, theres a good chance it won’t work when loading in
Now we’re calling bugs proof of Horde Bias…
i wasn’t i was comparing their bug with one the alliance has been experiencing for quite a while
eh? definitely not a channel. nothing to interrupt. nothing that makes you stay in one place. you initiate it with one instant and then use it with another.
there’s a very short period of time in which you can use it, though…which makes it pretty crappy and not what I took it to mean from the tool tip. it’s also clearly marked “instant” on said tool tip.
I thought it meant when you used it the first time, it placed a mark on the ground and when you used it a second time, it ported you to that mark. Instead it shoots a trace thingy that moves at max ~30 yards and if you don’t use it before it peters out at 30 yards, it’s done and goes on cd. so mostly useless as the ultimate escape I envisioned for arenas. more of a blink or venthyr abil w/o the channel.
LMFAO! The Horde bug bias is real.
Or Alliance bug bias or whatever, either way I’m laughing.
I don’t think blizz has a bias. It’s the community that causes this problem. There are so many horde everywhere. People who want to pug content, people who want raiding guilds, people who want to do mythic + know that horde has more players.
In vanilla WoW, horde was scarce. Paladins made raiding easier. All the serious raid guild were alliance. Blizz gave blood elf paladins to the horde to try to balance this. It didn’t do much at first because the guilds were established. Alliance ruled WoW until cataclysm. People started to switch. By the end of WoD, horde vastly outnumbered the alliance. Top guilds had switched.
With the loot scarcity of this expansion I don’t expect it will change. People need other people to play with. The more people you have, the easier and faster it is. Even doing world content is easier because your faction tags everything.
As far as allied races are concerned, I don’t think any of them have much customization. Nightborne, lightforged are about equal. None of the allied races seem finished to me.
Cata and Wod were both Ally dominated in terms of pvp. Especially in cata if you remember what it was like to go up against emfh humans in raid trinkets with legendaries.
I’m not a pvp player so I’m mostly referring to pve content. If I remember right goblin racial abilities starting tipping the scales. I left during cata and came back end of MoP. I definitely saw more horde when I returned. I left and came back end of WoD. By the time I started legion, the horde outnumbered alliance. I still think there is no bias. It’s the community that changed. Honestly, in BFA, I thought the alliance storyline was better. I didn’t like the horde war campaign at all.
You get bonus depending on how outnumbered in warmode you are…its not a freebie just for being alliance.
Alliance hereoes outshine and hold the horde heros hands through the start of the expansion lol.
Anduin focus.
Teldressil story tied into night fae as is tyrants so that’s a covenant exclusive you’ll have to see urself not horde bias its again alliance biased.
PvP its always depends on your realm…my horde realm sux in bgs looses most the time this toon teams win most often.
Racials are literally maybe a 10-30 dps addition…hardly worth caring about good lord.
You sure your not just craving drama and conflict and talking out your back side because from a person playing both sides I see a more favorable alliance game then pandering to horde. Theres been very little horde focuced story in any covenant purely horde focused at all.
Dur hur blizzard fAVouRs hurde
I agree they probably won’t ever be able to fix, intentionally or not. Trying everything possible? I don’t think so.
Alliance racials are better at this point.
Look at MDI, every group was 5 Night Elves.
Blizzard opened Pandora’s box with Blood Elves, that’s when everyone started flooding to the Horde. It should have been ogres.
there’s no way this chart is correct i used to 5cap ab and 4cap eye of the storm day after day. Maybe that was 10 years ago
The point of my post was to question where OP is getting his information from because to my knowledge there isn’t a source for that kind of info anymore.
The game is actually absurdly biased in the Alliance’s favor.
Bliz has been trying for years to make the Horde look reprehensible, and to try and make them worse in various ways, in order to try and work against player faction bias.
It just hasn’t worked. The problem is that group content games work by having a critical mass of players someone can play with. With a 2 faction system, over the course of many years, one side has gained more and more critical mass.
The only solution to the problem is actually to stop having the faction split. Let players group with people on both sides, and then people can play what they want.
Heck, we ended the war last expansion. Why can’t we just cross-faction group against a common foe?
they let you faction change, they also let you play as merc. Start of this xpac all the horde were playing as alliance merc for faster que. We(alliance + horde mercs) were beating horde 30 vs 40 on epic bg’s
Still? 11 years later lol
There are no battlegroups anymore
