When does JJ end?

When does Joyus Journeys end? Tuesday?

im pretty sure its over on teh 10th when teh new phase opens.

Joyous Journey has no end date in mind at the moment. It is supposed to continue through the ICC patch entirely.

This may be true but I’d always bet on the side of caution - that it ends when ICC drops or the patch next week. That way you’ll be pleasantly surprised when it continues and won’t be disappointed when it does.

ya prolly but isnt this the last patch of wrath? they may just keep it there so ppl can just play catch up forever.

It’s forever because even Blizzard thinks leveling in Wrath sucks and is something to get over with asap.

When JJ has been permanent for a while, I look forward to seeing posts demanding we get an experience buff because it’s (still) too slow.
A permanent buff to experience means it’s not really a buff anymore and people will want one. Hence why a permanent buff to JJ is stupid.
Actually JJ as a whole is stupid and not needed to begin with.

That’s why there are heirlooms. Double your pleasure, double your fun.

It’ll probably end with Ruby Sanctum

Not ending it seems like the right move. Ending it would only limit the number of people who would consider coming back or starting WotLKC who hadn’t played at all in previous tiers.

It never should have been put in. After that, people begged for another one and another one. Even if it’s permanent, people will just ask for a bigger buff. Enough is enough for spoiled/lazy people. Blizzard should have just left it alone. What would have been better for low levels is RDF, which is now coming too little too late as the old world is already dead, and stupid XP buffs helped to bury it.

And that’s another reason why the game doesn’t need JJ in the first place.

we had recruit-a-friend in OG wrath. it was a 300% exp boost and gave 1 level to grant every 2 levels earned. p servers offer a similar exp rate. meaning people who’ve never stopped enjoying wrath have always leveled faster than they do now.

even if jj is permanent, asking for more exp boosts would be warranted.

cataclysm probably

it will not end until further notice

JJ is the replacement for RAF (recruit a friend). And if you don’t like JJ go speak to an inn keeper and turn it off.

This ^^

It’s going to continue throughout ICC, and probably the remainder of wrath. I forsee it ending either on Cata prepatch or cata launch.

I’ll never understand people that endlessly complain about something they can just turn off for free

I guess it depends what they do next, this might be your last chance to level in the classic Azeroth world.
