When did KSM become so devalued?

You don’t need a carry or to buy it, truth is 3k just isn’t difficult.

its not? so then what is considered good raider io ?

I hope you don’t seriously believe this…

Data on various cut-offs and thresholds. You can decide for yourself where you want to draw the line.

3k is a good io score.
it is stellar? no, but its good. the difficulty to acquire something is a relative to the player.

KSH is more impressive ofc, but it’s not that hard to get.

“when” you get the achievement is important too. the truth is “saturation” plays a part of it too.

IKR! I show people my Old Gnome and the Sea achievement. But no invites. Just silence.

depends on what key level ur doing, but if youre like 2567 or somewhere in that bracket thats like 16’s-17’s.

If this is the toon youre pugging on, its no wonder “no one respects your KSM.” you dont even have it how are you linking a false achivement??

3700 is like last season’s 2900, 3300 is like last season 2700, 3000 like last season 2400,2500 like last season 2000. Whatever was good to you last season, find on the chart it’s about 500-700 more

soo whats a decent raider score to have to be considered at least decent in mythic+ ? just wondering? im guessing like 3400ish?

Well, two reasons.

  1. It can be bought.
  2. People are branching into higher and higher keys now because while the affixes have remained the same, player power has not. Player power has gone up exponentially for some classes with tier sets, and thus keys have become further trivialized.

Decent for what level? Decent for a 15, probably 2500-2700 or so. Decent for a 25, probably 3400 or so.

Decent for getting your alt invites to appropriate keys, probably 3200, people will know you know the dungeons well and can play at least one spec well.

that, and the dungeons aren’t new anymore…people have min/maxed the hell out of them for like 2 years. everyone still playing knows the tricks & best routes. (i’m more impressed by a player’s earlier season scores than the last patch for that reason alone…earlier seasonal affixes were also more difficult imo)

well, you would hope so lol

combo of it being late in the tier and also if your linking KSM like its some kind of skill identifier or linking it in keys where it hasnt been asked for, its a lil obnoxious.
KSM isnt hard to get these days.

Gorechop’s wing in TOP, "why does literally no one stack up? :sob: " (3 casts go off.)

First pull after the first boss in SOA. The LOS pull.
That one player not in LOS: :chart_with_upwards_trend:.
The group in LOS: :smiling_face_with_tear:

OP doesn’t even have KSM not sure why he’s complaining.

The playerbase has changed a lot over the years, what was one thing before isn’t now. Now they say that the ce, aotc and ksm is now free, this gives blizz the feeling to make the content more difficult, which damages the integrity of the game.

I wouldn’t be surprised if in the future ksm was 3k io, and hc was like mythic and mythic as something beyond its difficulty.

Simple, stop pug’ing major achievements. Or at least when you do so, do it while understanding that achievements can be bought and are not a reflection of real skill. Because people ask for those achievements, PUG’s will seek them out and even pay to get them even when they themselves aren’t exactly great at their classes. And because there’s a massive need for gold by bleeding edge guilds they’ll always happily run the content in exchange for a chunk of change.

If you’re serious enough about WoW to be chasing after patch-specific meta-achievements for end game content, you’re serious enough to be social in the game.
