does not make sense we can do everything else xfaction but not instanced content? nobody really cares about faction difference anymore i already group with either for m+ or raids. not being able to mix for leveling content hurts the game

There are actually people who do care about this— including Blizzard, who has stated they do not want to force cross faction onto people.
Thus, in 11.0.7, we will be getting this compromise:

lol sorry the minority can cry. why should i be restricted by faction when i play with friends? we cant fill groups 100% of the time for tw. how about adding a opt out if you really dont want it? your ques will be slower but its on you. outdated thinking should mean slower ques. im not going to spend money just to que with a friend… i have yet to see anyone actually care about faction seperation

It’s so dumb that Blizzard still thinks there are more than like 10 weird guys who care about queuing for stuff and seeing the other faction. Nobody cares, just let us do it with no pre-made group restrictions or any other BS. The faction war is dead and it’s never gonna be a thing again and that’s GOOD, we just wanna play with our friends!

Outdated way of thinking most people don’t care and cross faction is a thing if I could pick neutral and have the game think I’m both I’d do in a heartbeat. I started as horde and I play alli now but I want to stay human and go do horde quests etc. factions don’t matter classic servers are still open to those people who care
That’s one of reason why i want a 3rd faction to join because it doesn’t matter what the two factions think or feel. If the 3rd faction wants war than i am all in.
Solution have a xfaction button like warmode for people to opt in to if they want to separate factions. Have both factions just be a color and both can freely visit each others city and do their quests by default

Unfortunately what Blizzard wants, is not what a majority of the playerbase wants. And if they want to keep people playing their game and not having it be pointlessly hostile to new players. Then they need to change it.
Both veterans and newer players alike are struggling with this pointless wall. Like anytime someone is trying to get into the game and they get attached to their alliance character and want to do stuff with me I have to tell them tough luck I’m on horde, maybe when you get to M+ I can finally do things with you and whoops suddenly their interest in the game is lost. Shame I can’t just join people without making redundant alts I do not want to play.
Every other MMO out there with factions lets people do content together. Imagine playing FF14 and being like oh you wanna do your random dungeon today? Oh sorry you’re Malstrom scum I picked the Immortal Flames enjoy doing it alone. Lul wut?
Even in ESO where the factions are actually at a realistic ongoing political struggle between the three of them. With an ongoing war in the middle province. You can not only join any of the factions as any race, but you can play with any player you want. Turns out, faction wars only matter in combat zones just like in real life. Like how I’m not going to instantly aggro some Russian that walks by me on the street in the US.
Love how you and Blizzard are doing this under the guise of “Waah we don’t want to force people into cross faction queues!” When all you’re doing is forcing the rest of us, the majority, to make alts we do not want on factions we do not care about to play with the friends we do like. Pure hypocrisy.
If you want to only have a toggle for same faction queues, then opt into it. If you feel “forced” to opt into the cross faction one for faster queues, because… surprise surprise, mostly everyone else wants cross faction queues! (BIG SHOCK I KNOW) then well that’s on you. That is most certainly a YOU problem. Either queue cross faction or enjoy being racist. Why are we catering to the racists?

Actually, i am no better than you are. Having a Gnome Mage as my main character so i can play with my brother, but i don’t feel right playing Alliance character. I am Horde and always will be Horde. Blood in Blood out.

lol show me a race that looks good for xmog outside of blood elf either gender. Everything is built off human. I was horde a long long time ago but I like my free trinkit and was enjoying 10% more rep. NE also has pretty good racials. I play for racials not faction

So I don’t see why they don’t just put an xfaction queue toggle.
