When can we que cross faction for heroic, tw, instanced content?

The sad part is, this isn’t even the hottest take of the day I’ve seen. Still spicy, however, and ridiculous besides.

Just like a warmode button ez I said the same in a earlier post

Because it splits the playerbase even further and when one queue takes longer than the other, then people feel “forced” into the other one.

We don’t need queue times going up even more.

let the minority who want to segregate themselves do that to themselves. who wants to play with less people, id choose to play with more

Cross faction queues should be a thing. The upcoming wimpy excuse of “with a 5 man pre-made” restriction is so dumb.

No one cares about the faction conflict. I want to play with my friends.

lmao.

lol more and more prove the one nay sayers post wrong

It’s pretty clear the majority wants cross faction across the board, otherwise they wouldn’t have made everything else cross faction and it was always met with overwhelming positive feedback.

The fact that you know you’d be segregated and your queue times would be go up because you’d want to stay playing with your own faction kinda proves the point that the majority wants cross faction queues, sorry.

Is it? Because we don’t have any numbers. And this was the decision Blizzard made based off of their metrics, surveys, research, what they want out of the game, etc.

We don’t have a clue what the majority wants or how they want to balance both options.

Me? Where did I come into play in this conversation? This isn’t about me.

Also notice I never said which queue. On purpose. Because it could swap back and forth, depending on the population online at the time.

Y’all seem to think this is my personal opinion and what I want.

Read again. I gave the information Blizzard has said twice now in two different interviews. Nothing more.

sooo point of thread is

buff horde racials

got it, thanks.

We do know because they started out slowly making things cross faction and specifically said if most people liked it, they’d continue making more things cross faction. And they’ve only continued making more things cross faction.

That means the majority likes it. :dracthyr_shrug:

the majority *remaining…

Yeah well when 5 dudes quit because they threw a tantrum over seeing a gnome in their key the majority still playing was still always the majority lol

lol 5 dudes, sure pup

I’d like a citation on that one. Because I don’t remember anyone ever claiming this.

I can’t remember where it was but it was around the time they were adding in cross faction, might have been an interview with the devs. I looked but can’t find it but I distinctly remember hearing them saying something about wanting to hear feedback about potentially adding in more cross faction options, people did leave feedback, and they started making more things like guilds cross faction.

They even said originally in the post where they made instances cross faction that they were hesitant to make guilds cross faction, and then did it anyway because of so much feedback of people wanting more cross faction everything.

But that doesn’t mean Blizzard wants to leave out those who like the factions separate. As evident by their current decision.

Nor does it mean we get to sit here and claim numbers to further a narrative.

The decision was made. I gave the information available.

That’s it. That’s all. I came in here to give the facts, not bicker with people who claim I’m whining while they whine at me.

As a matter of fact… I’m muting this thread. Because clearly people are incapable of recognizing a post that gives information and not personal opinion.

Don’t rail on me for Blizzard’s decision. I run groups cross faction. I’m out.

I’m still hoping blizz lets us just toggle cross faction queuing in general sooner rather than later. Sure most days my guild will have plenty of people, but what if only 4 of us want to queue for timewalking? I main Alliance and they are Horde. One day we’ll get it I hope. Just have it be opt in so people who want to stay with their factions and don’t mind the longer queue times can do that, and the rest of us can queue up with whoever.

This is stupid? How would Blizzard be “leaving out” the two people that don’t want cross faction queues? Explain that first. I’d love Blizzard to explain that one too.

If you have the chance to opt out of the cross faction queues, that’s your choice. It’s my choice to stay in. But if you feel “forced” to join the cross faction queue because EVERYONE knows it will be popular and quicker than the ones who opt out… how are we robbing them of their choice? They can still opt out. The racists can stay within their own factions and… do… whatever they’re doing. Since that makes their game more fun for some reason. The only difference is their queues will be longer. Still playable though.

Meanwhile for the rest of us, we can go into the cross faction queue. But Blizzard robs our choice, making us forced into doing what we don’t want to do. And this is okay? And this is their ‘logic’? So onesided and hypocritical. At least if the system was opt in for no cross fation queues we’d all have a choice. As it stands now, nobody gets a choice. Clearly one choice would be vastly inferior, and perhaps this is why we should be given that choice… but hey what do I know.
