Unlikely even then. Dragon riding progression is connected to exploration and traversal. There are environmental puzzles implemented in the experience that regular flying would completely break and render pointless were it to be added.
This is flying for this expansion. I’m not sure what else to say to you guys.
I’m an old codger who’s reflexes are waning… It took about 45 minutes ( because I stopped on every flight path) to get all the dragon glyphs. Now the Drake is amazing!

I have seen it written somewhere, (sorry not sure where). That there is a feature you can turn off that makes it easier for people with game movement problems. Its there to help people that become motion sick etc. Good luck, hope it works for you.
nah, regular flying will be implemented eventually. It always is. By time it is it wont matter that the puzzles are made trivial, well be close to have the next part of the area unlocked.

We didn’t have dragon riding prior to this expansion. There’s no precedent for flying to be added when a version of flying already exists in the game.
The only way I see them adding regular flying is if public sentiment turns sour towards dragon riding and it ends up not being the success they want it to be, but I don’t see that really happening. Reception has been crazy positive.
And even if they do add regular flying, you probably have to engage with dragon riding to some extent before doing so, so anyone resting on the hope that they can just avoid dragon riding altogether is likely moot.
Have you maybe considered that people find usefulness to be the fun? Because to them, it allows them to get to the fun, or have fun even? Those things are not mutually exclusive to one another. Usefulness is objective. Fun is Subjective.
That’s sound like a you problem. Why you must ruin everybody else’s fun to not have both?
If you think it’s fun without regular flying, then you would think it’s fun with regular flying.
If you think it’s not fun with regular flying, then you would not think it’s fun without regular flying.

This is why they are so rude and angry. When we get regular flying in this expansion, the majority will stop using DR and it will die with the end of the expansion like the covenant abilities/artifacts/etc.

I don’t see how since DR is the faster way of traveling. I think people will still use it. Everyone keeps telling me that people affected by this are in the minority. So why this fear that it’ll get abandoned?
Just a suggestion, but have you tried changing different settings. Like distance for your view from your character (like zoom in our out compared to normal), or turn some graphic settings down like particles, ground clutter, shadows/light, or render distance. You may be experiencing motion sickness. I get it with several video games like Minecraft, most FPS games, and on some mounts in WoW. I have found with MC if I use my own texture pack and light stuff up I am good, FPS I have to turn down particles, and mounts I have to change how far from my character my view is and my render distance.
Also make sure that your physical surrounds are properly lit up. Not too light, but you aren’t sitting in the dark either, but that the room you are sitting in is about the same or slightly darker than the world on your screen. Consider getting blue light blocker glasses as well. Though they alone won’t fix the issue they do help your eyes relax and keep you blinking. Set a timer for every 5 or so minutes to focus on something off the computer screen for a few seconds, and to blink… a lot.
They said in an interview a while ago there will eventually be regular flying. So unless they go against their word, it will be added eventually. I’m sitting this one out until then.

kinda hard to run on the ground when half the flowers i gotta pick for the profession i chose are on the damn mountains that i can’t get any access to without flying.
