not for those who can and will enjoy it. they can have both and manage to have even more people happy as a whole.

They should make a height limit so you can only get to the quest giver and not cheat to get the goodies up top.

I don’t think you’re following what I mean.
In practical terms “regular” flying lets you hover anywhere, go up/down/left/right at will, auto run afk, no restrictions at all. If implemented then no one will use dragon riding because it’s worse in all practical terms despite being obviously more fun.
It’s really no choice at all if both are implemented together.

This whole dragon flying thing to me is just ion snubbing his nose at flyers in the disguise of “cool dragons” so we don’t have flying at all.
and as you can see not everyone can handle it okay. Understand what you’re saying. And you are possibly right, but they could still find a workable compromise for those who just cant.

For those saying the motion sickness is an OP problem, it’s not. Myself and my GM both got motion sick last night. I had to stop for the night because of that. Thanks to the poster who suggested the accessibility options, I didn’t know they were there.

It has been YEARS on the flight issue and nothing is going to change.
We have Dragonriding or walking.
That’s our current choices.

I actually wonder if instead of opening it up to everyone, have a way a player can reach out to them individually and provide information to get a slow, height locked flying opened just for them due to medical circumstances?

No need to make it arbitrary. Make it painful to use for normal people so it incentivises people to get used to it.
Edit thought: instead of 60%, just add flight birds that are slow to get to the areas for the campaign. I mean painfully slow. Let’s not ruin the expansion.

You should preface all of this with the info you provided later in the thread, like how you were in a car accident, cant drive at night etc.
Then yes maybe people would understand why you are asking for normal flying back but like dont say stuff like “this aint it chief” “making it hard required isnt fun” “blizzard dropped the ball once again”.
It isnt hard and its way better than normal flying, you just have personal issues with it and thats fine.
I would recommend talking to a doctor or go to physio if you are having these issues due to that car accident, they could potentially get worse over time.
This the type of guy who would give this expansion 1/10 score because one issue (his own condition) is causing him problems LOL

I really like dragonriding and I do think it is fun, I just can’t do it for more than 5 minutes without getting dizzy.
You really can’t “opt out”, there are certain farming nodes, rares, and
I have no inner ear condition and I am getting sick after about 5-10 minutes. There is a significant percent of the population that gets dizzy from things like this, especially as you get older. Ten years ago I would have been fine but now this stuff makes me dizzy.

I would have preferred a frog/dragon mount and make it have cool abilities like that daily wq in ZM. jump around
