well. Just my experience… as a horde , been having alot of griefings and trolls with the horde , but after being a merc in alliance… most of them seem more matured and know what they are doing.
these are just my experience. Either way , always get facerolled against full conquest geared characters.
On my server if you want to win as Alliance you play during the day; if you want to win at the Horde you play in the morning. Nighttime seems to be a toss-up.
That really is how it goes though. One faction either has some groups queueing and stomping, or just gets lucky for a couple hours. Then everyone who was queueing into that is salty and plays poorly or is quick to be negative as they queue into other BGs, which makes teams devolve into arguing or just be emotionally defeated before the BG is even one sided.
idk about alliance, but I know horde has at least one pretty active guild that queues epic BGs. They only get lie 5 -10 people in but they do call outs and enough people follow their lead. I was getting matched with them a lot and we also fought some alliance doing the same thing in AV, and it made for some of the most fun I’ve had in AV in years.
It’s been fun watching ashran meta evolve this expansion.
Indeed. This is all it takes. Just someone to be calling out things. Most people react, I know if I yell for help I’ll usually get it. We aren’t bad at teamwork… we just don’t communicate well.
Another awesome BG was a WG. Now this I’m sure was a pre-made… the coordination was just too good.
We took SR, built all catas… Stormed the upper west wall, then proceeded to shoot directly at the last door once the first wall was down before we even broke through to the centre.
Game over in under 10 mins.
I try to tell people at the start if we’re attacking… But no one listens to me.
Google is your friend on new words. If you don’t have the competency to understand the point of my response because you’re stuck on a term of no consequence to the point, that’s your personal idiocy to work through and is of very little concern to me.
It’s so random, I can lose 10 times in a row on a bad day on one faction, then switch to a toon on another and lose lol. Can go the other way just as easily with winning. I have good and bad teams on both my horde and ally. Horde seems to do better on IoC, other than that it’s a coin flip for me.
If people don’t know who you are or you don’t have a group to back you up, it can be kind of detrimental to try and coordinate an epic BG.
Before people defaulted to hangar in IoC, I tried to call shots and all it resulted in was people arguing that zerging mid was better, or zerging docks. So our team split to do 3 different things and we got dumpstered.
Sometimes it’s better to just keep your mouth shut and let the zerg default to whatever conventional wisdom they buy into.
In wintergrasp, I always see attackers split before we get to sunken ring. People ping to come in behind the defenders. Half the group just goes right. And like 20 people will just sit in the middle looking to see where everyone else goes and they just end up jumping into sunken ring in the middle and take half their health in fall damage, standing ten feet in front of the enemy team. People are actual lemmings.
Which is funny because if both teams rush hangar like they usually do, horde has to funnel through a terrible low ground choke point and is at a huge disadvantage.
I think ashran is better because there’s a lot more options if you don’t win the initial class at RoC. It’s more likely to claw your way back into a victory. Especially if your team plays safe in the big mid lane fights and just gets picks with chain death grips without feeding, or people sneak off to farm artifacts and summon an elemental late in the match, or sneak a mage kill or whatever, or keep killing the frag turn in NPC. Ashran is just so good.
Was just looking at this on my Mage (level 68). I ran 4 or 5 BGs today and lost all 5. Lifetime the character was 75 games played and 24 wins. The last game was Temple and there were some people with 71k hp on my team and some people with around 200k. As long as Blizzard allows this, overall pvp will continue to poor for anyone that doesn’t premade.
What pisses me off the most is that , the conquest gears are so overpowered that it just makes people push to get and buy the carry boost just so you could not die in Bg’s and ruin all the casual players whom are trying to get the conquest gears without going to arena’s.
not sure how blizzard is looking to fix this , but its just going nowhere , i wonder if blizzard employees even play the game in the first place…?
just my 2 cents , thanks for hearing my rants ! :3
