? If anyone is getting a carry boost for one tier of conquest gear, that’s pretty sad.
well , just to prevent themselves from being facerolled so hard in bg’s i guess its worth it ? Or else do you have any suggestions for them?
Idk anyone who struggles with full honor gear so nope, no suggestions.
Winning sides really depend on time of day
Hello, I don’t want to be “pedantic” but I hope you do realize that you said this in a reply to yourself.
No one does this.
I don’t know what my typical win rate is, but what I do know is that playing Rocky music and having a Rocky mindset (“It’s not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward”) in random BGs increases your win rate drastically.
If someone just gives up after losing the first team fight and starts going all crab-in-a-bucket in chat, tell them off. Those people lose BGs before they’re over, and deal more damage to your team than the enemy could possibly hope to inflict.
I think you overestimate the time. A SAS premade with that strategy , the game is over less in less than 4 minutes . Frequently less than 3
What a handsome devil.
Oh my god I remember that. I was doing epics for the weekly with a friend who usually just raids.
(They wanted to do the weekly, I had already done it and was content to do little bgs)
This also brings up another point similar to the “crab-in-a-bucket” thing: Being talkative helps, whether it’s calling strats and incomings or cracking jokes or both.
I’ve noticed this with my renewed foray into rated BGs as well. A yolo that just says the strat at the beginning and is dead silent beyond that has a much lower chance of winning compared to a yolo that has even just 4-6 people in a VC jesting and calling.
I could very well be.
I was trying not to exaggerate.
From REFlex, Season 1, all games (mostly eBGs):
Horde: 83.2%
Alliance: 66.0 %
note: if i feel up to it later on i may post win rates for the specific BGs.
I don’t mind good jokes. Alliance are typically more irritable / trollish when it comes to useful talking in BGs.
I’d like to think most players are in there to win, regardless of the side they’re playing. Even the mercs. But you can always count on Alliance-side hurling insults the whole match, winning or losing. Horde-side sometimes as well, but it’s pretty much a given on Alliance-side. That UI mod Global Ignore is very useful on Alliance-side. You can right-click raid frames in addition to chat names and set it to expire in 24 hours. Works on the quest spammers as well.
Thanks for the info! I really dislike quest spam too. lol
You will be surprised by the demands :3
I think this has become the stereotypical thing the last couple of expansions . Sometimes when I am on my Ally toon, I like to shout docks when at IOC and sit back and watch the insults fly , lol
