You were there first. You got the tag. What makes them feel so entitled? Are they just hoping that you having to decline the invite during the fight will cause you to miss an interrupt on a mechanic that could kill you so they could hopefully get a chance at it? Is it like the whole /spit thing that used to happen when people got store mounts? Are these retail people who think everything will be shared?
I just don’t understand the logic behind it. If all you wanna do is help just jump down and help. If you want a chance at it let the person have their fight (uninterrupted with spam invites) and if they die, go tag it after they’re dead.
Not sure how it’s bait when it’s just a question. Why do people spam invites to someone who is actively fighting a rare spawn? Unless you meant that your response was bait, in which case I agree and fell for.
Probably people from Retail who think the items are rolled personally on the drop rather than what it is. There’s been a lot of extremely entitled people that ive run into while doing dailies or hunting rares and it was not like this in cata. I can only assume its retail brain rot.
To take the items it drops because if group forms while you are in combat you cannot change the loot rules and it defaults to need/greed and they will try to take the items.
