What's with all the entitled mages in BGs?

Thats okay you can be stingy and lower your chances of winning.
You not dropping a table helps me, because as you see, i’m not on your faction.

It’s a lot farther then that when I’m queuing in SW and the nearest innkeeper that sells level 65 food is in Outland.

Stormwind sells honor water get on it

Why would I need water as a rogue?

They are DPS, the tanks role is to tank damage, the DPS dish it, and the healers heal. Mages aren’t required to place down a table if they do not wish to. You just have a false sense of entitlement as many others have pointed out.

I wouldn’t expect a Retail monk to understand the importance of having plenty of food and water in TBC. In fact, I don’t even remember the last time I had to eat in Retail.

TBF table can totally win games. A lot of people won’t use their own food or water in a BG without a table

It also costs 0 reagents inside a BG so there’s no reason to not drop one

“Drop mage table plz”

guy that asked for table leaves bg
bg group is terrible and everyone calls to give up after 2 mins

Yeah that was totally worth the 2 arcane dust…

To be fair, I’m not seeing a mage in each group of a raid.

If I could, I’d tip a mage to drop a table regardless if I needed or not. Anything to increase a team’s chance at success should be taken.

Crazy idea to help your own team secure a win with extremely good food/water combo in one sitting…

It’s almost like the people who do that actually want to win…

What is the rogue contribution? You dont bring a buff, food/water, cookies, etc. You show up with your empty hands out expecting.

Kicks, CC, node stealing, scouting, ect. We all have our roles to play. One of yours is providing food and water.

Maybe they’re repaying you for the water

You provide the basics that each class has as BASE. If a healer or more contributing type class wants a table they get it, but you… a rogue offer zip. Most times you guys dont even engage in the core fights of bgs and stick to the outside trying to collect HKs.

I get the frustrations with entitled players. And I hate to see someone yell at a mage rudely for a table. They’re providing a service and you should be kind to them. But I agree with the OP. I’ve seen way too many mages lately four or five in a BG. Every time the’ve been asked it’s been polite. Still no table. It’s about the cheapest and easiest thing to do on your class. I don’t make people ask for a soulwell, I drop it down instantly before the gates open. I don’t whine about buffing people on my priest with three separate sacred candle buffs that are party-specific instead of a whole raid. And I don’t make people ask for a table on my mage. It’s like 20s and one cast. Just do it.

I play classic too. In fact, I play more classic than retail. You’re statement isn’t even relevant. Whether you get it from a vendor or from a mage, you need food/water. You shouldn’t be relying on a mage to provide for you. Come prepared or don’t complain. It’s that simple.
