What's with all the entitled mages in BGs?

It’s honestly not your concern how much money another player makes.

You demanded it there ^

I demanded it by stating a simple fact?

Not concerned at all. I just find it ridiculous that some mages act like a 8s 50c is going to break their bank lol. Thats literally one mob’s worth of loot.

If you aren’t willing to contribute to the group then perhaps group content isn’t for you.

You keep bringing it up though. It’s really not your business lol. It’s pretty simple.

Imagine crying about gold while playing the easiest gold making class in the game.

Its the topic of the thread so…

How much gold mages make? Mine says different. The whole gold argument is very weak and goes both ways, try another angle.

It is our business if they are grouped up with us and not performing the duties expected of their class.

A mage’s duty is to DPS. You expecting them to pay for your food is the definition of entitlement.

I just let the game lose if they make no food

This is either a successful troll or some pretty tasty irony.

But I’m sure the OP also never charges to open lockboxes, and never quietly passes locked chests in dungeons so they can go back and open them when everyone else has left the group.

Further, I’m sure the OP is campaigning just as tirelessly to ensure all other rogues follow that shining example.

There are two types of people in this world. The ones that take responsibility for themselves when it’s within their own power (buying food from the innkeeper), and those that blame others for their problems. It’s clear to see who’s the latter in this post.

When it comes to PVP a mage’s duty is to DPS, CC, and provide food and water as needed.

You are correct. I do all those things and hope other rogues do as well.

I feel differently. As a gamer it is my responsibility to play and have fun. I am in no way responsible for your game experience or dungeon/raid/bg preparation.

This is a MMO, not a single player game. When you are grouped with other players certain things are expected of you. Mages providing food and water is one of them.

Any time we meet in a 5 player dungeon or pve raid I will be happy to drop a table/tables as needed. I will also buff you with AB at the cost of a reagent. I do this because I chose to. Not because you have some false sense of entitlement.

Okay, I’ll remember that when Im dropping totems for everyone. Totems I have to individually drop every fight or before every boss.

And mage’s can’t press 1 button that helps the entire team for the rest of the match?

Imagine playing a class that has the best CC and utility in the game, while also being able to basically print gold with AOE farming and you can’t drop a table that cost ~2g and takes 5seconds.
