They gave the reason, they are going to do faction changes instead because that prevents people to play together while achievements doesn’t.
Wtf does one thing have to do with the other? The whole point of account wide achievements is so it makes achievements worthwhile to get, rn it makes no sense to chase achievements because none of your alts get it too.

it gives you more achievements to get, a whole new set for each new character. endless achievements.

Because before the go go go, I want it all / entitled kids started crying this was a RPGmmo. Meaning that each char was in fact its OWN person. It wasn’t until (IMHO) the cry babies came along and wanted it all on everything that things went from an RPGmmo to a Mobile Bop-em MMO.

They recently made achievements account wide in ESO, It felt like my characters lost their individuality, it was also weird to have titles on my characters that didn’t earn them. I don’t care for wrath to have them account wide, gives me something to do on alts.

Your character are not sentient creatures that play when you’re offline, they have zero individuality. It makes no sense that my playtime doesn’t translate to all my characters.
How come when i work at my one job im not being compensated from every other job in the world I’m not currently doing???

play retail if you want shared achievements. The original achievement system had more meaning becuase everyone knew you did it on that character. It made your character feel more significant.
In a game like this I’m not sure why it isn’t account wide, but I honestly don’t care either way.
I lean towards OPs opinion though. You’ve gotten the achievement. Why do you need to get the same achievement across all alts?
