What’s the point of using the thing to convert to set pieces if it gives you the most god awful stats? Is it worth me getting my 3rd and 4th set piece if im losing mastery and gaining crit?
another reason why stat reforge was one of if not the greatest features wow ever had
and they took away cause they dont know howto make a game

Just fun being further and further behind each week because of RNG. I haven’t gotten a single useful piece of gear from the vault the entire season so far. So frustrating.

Broadly speaking this depends, but usually. If the stats are bad and the bonus seems underwhelming then it might be worth skipping in favor of conquest trophies and then crafting pieces with desired stats.
i hit 70 2 days before reset… im 300 conq from 4 set and have 8 epics and my only vault was the alacrity trinket… the game isnt keeping you behind
I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a change in the system allowing the catalytic converter to just convert to tier but keep the stats of the original piece. Would be more helpful to some for both pvp and pve. But on the same token it would allow for more stat stacking that some specs can take more advantage of so I don’t know the best answer.
In conclusion, bring back pvp specific tier

you buy the conq piece and take it to the catalyst and convert it to tier… there is a catchup mechanic so you can currently turn 3 pieces of conq gear to tier and 1 more next week but hitting 1600 in any bracket lets you make one for free… set bonuses are only on helm shoulders chest gloves and legs only
