What's the new pathfinder going to be?

It looks like you are only missing Embers of Neltharion. You’re not the first person who had a problem with it. Here’s a thread of how someone else got it to complete. Hopefully it helps.

Would not be the first time I’ve missed something. Thank you for the info.

well by campaign they could mean the entire campaign which is about 2 years

They don’t. It’s main campaign. Just like main campaign unlocked adventure mode for alts.

My guess is that pathfinder will be for normal flying only - which they have already told us. It will require full mastery and use of dragonriding to reach and complete mandatory content that cannot be reached without flight. There may be an extended period of timegating before all such mandatory content is available, just as in previous versions of pathfinder. And if they do it this way, they will end up turning even more dedicated players into cyclical and sometime subscribers.

Same thing happened to me. I didn’t listen to the gossip between the 2 and flew off.
Talk about frustrating…

That sounds more like the ion we have come to love. heil!

I’m sorry, I’ve used tab targeting since I started playing at the end of MoP, and it’s always been bizarre and wonky. I hate the fact that if you tab away from a mob in the group you’re fighting, it’s going to cycle through 20 mobs that are 60 yards away before you get back to it. But at least it no longer preferentially targets neutral mobs, mobs behind walls, and players flagged for PvP.

There should be a tab target range slider in the options panel, so a melee player can set his own desired range and not target mobs they can’t hit.

My targeting macros worked great up until that point. lol.
I keep that sticky targeting turned off and my macros still dont behave the same as they used to.

I pretty much use…

/cleartarget
/targetenemy

Mostly its going to grab the closest target, which is nearly always what Im going after anyway.
Does get annoying if I need to target something else, but lesser of evils here.
I hate accidently snagging something from the next room because I got the last shot in on this trash and I hit an attack not realizing it changed targets in that split second from this one dying and that one being targeted.

At least with that macro it tries to get something closer 99% of the time

If you do content with the same group the best way is for the tank to set skull, moon, etc. and there’s a set of target macros that target by how they are marked.

Ive been tempted to set my macros up so [group] will target what the tanks targeting but the issue with that is theres always that hunter that doesnt dismiss pet before we jump, tank is ahead of us when the mobs hit and Im not entirely sure I can hit the stuff coming up behind us if the tank has something else targeted and Im macroed to hit the tanks target.

Obviously this doesn’t work for random groups, because if you’re taking a second to set this up, somebody’s already pulled. Probably each DPS and the healer have pulled a different mob, and they trash pack is now all over the place being soloed by the other players.

You’re really behind: dynamic flight is available shortly after the introduction just like Dragonflight and then the Pathfinder achievement for static flight will be to reach level eighty, complete the campaign, and fully explore the new zones.

we’ll have dragonriding from the start but will prob have to earn the static. Thats what happened in DF

Keybind a plain tab target to another key. Or vice versa. When I was into progression raiding with a guild it was very helpful to use custom target macros. target=lastarget is very useful in cc, and pvp.

Did they drop the old pathfinder requirements yet?

How old?

The only thing they’ve dropped from DF pathfinder is the rep requirement.

But I’m pretty sure all old pathfinder requirements have been removed up through Legion

There have been 2 opinions so far. it is definite that the leveling intro to the campaign is the key, but how that gets implemented no one seems to know yet.
