I feel like paid advertisers are flocking to these forums to advertise FF14. It’s really not that great of a game compared to WoW. Just trying to generate interest for its upcoming expansion.

The combat and the story. Although I traditionally hate jrogs stories post-2000 or so, so maybe my opinion shouldn’t count as much on that.

I do like how you don’t really need to make an alt though. I wish WoW had something like that.

Eh, more likely that they’re people like me- we like WoW, but we see something showing what WoW could be.

Based on my own experience playing the game.

And yes, it’s tinfoil hat-ish. But it has happened before (looking at you, Rift!)

I think if you approach it with a fresh mind, you might find you enjoy it more.

Every time I log out of FFXIV that’s the hardest part to leave behind. :frowning_face:

Well, I was planning on making a Ztroll on day 1, but I just got a call and I will be playing Grandma to 2 awesome little ones, age 3 and 1 on Tuesday and Wed. They live like 21 hours away and are headed to California to visit my other daughter and are stopping by here on the way there and back. Sounds like a great time for me!!! Ztroll on Thursday instead.

First thing I’m going to do is what I do every day. log in and do my emissary for the day across all characters and then log out till tomorrow and repeat.

I love that the Zandalari druid tank form is the first one to actually LOOK like a tank. Its reason enough to do a little racial swapping.

For me its a toss up between swapping a toon over to Kul Tiran (wants one of those delightful beefy ladies) and going after Hati on my hunter.

I’m sure I’ll find something to do…

Not a whole lot. I resubbed last week to pick up the new races and realized within minutes that I can’t be arsed to play WoW long enough to do the requisite quests and I won’t really do much with the Zandalari if I do get’em.

Since resubbing last week all I’ve done is run though the Legion raids for mogs on my main and then go back to playing GW2/ESO. $20 well spent :expressionless:

I mean I play both lol. I’ll be doing my FFXIV dailies while maintenance is going on then once servers are up I’ll be unlocking Zandalari and start working on heritage armor.

When was the last time you played and how far did you actually get? I feel most people who say this didn’t make it past level 50 or they got to the story wall and quit but who knows maybe you’ve played up until 70. -shrug-
