What's the excuse for the bots now?

Can anyone explain to me how Widowbloom flowers costing 100g each (and potions therefore 500g+ each) is too cheap and therefore “ruins” the economy?

How much do you think Widowbloom flowers should be worth?

A thousand gold per flower?

A million?

Certainly didn’t mention a full time gig, but if we wanted to cut costs on the matter, operating a person responsible for 4-5 servers or a battlegroup to routinely investigate incoming reports would solve the money issue on that anyways.

2-4 gm’s / server is way overkill, the point that we need people actively enforcing policies instead of just getting around to hitting the "empty trash’ button once a week is still quite here and relevant.

Whatever whoever is farming it think’s its worth. As you’re at their mercy, consumer.

Don’t like it? Should make a druid and get to picking flowers.

I’m not a consumer, I’m an Herbalist/Alchemist.

And I think the materials requirements of the recipes are absurd.

That’s not ruining the economy. Low prices are good for the consumer.

Ah well, unfortunately not all of us just exist to consume, some of us are out here playing the game and providing you with the things you need in order to get through what you’re doing, and we are to be paid for the time that you are not putting in to doing the task we are doing if you wish to purchase the goods.
This is how capitalism works.

True, also bring back mass multiboxing I want cheap herbs.

So you think 100g is too much and your subjective opinion on this somehow cancels out the increase in supply causing the prices to be less?

You think it’s still too much so it’s ok because the botters are making you feel better about what you consider expensive?

Yep. You’re paid for what the item is worth. if an item is going for a low price that’s what it’s worth.

If you want to clamp down on bots, get Blizzard to reduce potion recipe requirements to pre-Legion levels.

It was in Legion that they cranked up the potion recipes to maximum. It was so bad they had to go back in later and reduce the potion costs, AND add the Blood of Sargeras vendor. But BfA was little better, and with no more alchemy procs, Shadowlands is the most ridiculous extreme to date.

I’d wager that the reason there are a lot of herbing bots is because with Herbalism you can pick 300 gold off the ground every few seconds. It’s insane.

But another class will become the class of choice, botters aren’t going to say “well they nerfed these things so we won’t bot anymore” so the question becomes will you call for the next class to be nerfed as well and when does it end?

The worth of the item is dependent on the availability of the item.
Try again.

I think Blizzard designs the profession recipes on the assumption that there will be bots.

Ah well let me know when you’re done thinking about someone elses decisions that you have no part in or information about.

We’re busy explaining how numbers work over here.

The worth of an item is what people are willing to pay.

Until theres 5000000 at the price people are willing to pay and now it’s less than that because i want to sell it faster than you

I just posted about this too.

That herb is time consuming to get ,though i did find a way to get “some” it takes a long time.

Price of the herb at vendor price X 3 is normally the price it SHOULD sell for ,but it’s not.

And? I am sorry here, but Callieamaya is totally right. No matter if it be a bot or another player, undercutting will happen. You will not get your price 100% of the time even if you remove bots from the equation. I know I undercut on the daily and I don’t bot in the slightest.

Shame on you, even my rogue thinks that’s cutthroat.
But yeah it’s still supply and demand
