I know multiboxing isnt against ToS but the “person” i’m reporting is on up to 10 accounts at one time all day and night, in completely diffrent zones, this “person” will use up to 25 different charaters to manipulate the economy on Thrall, so far i’ve got 20 names on my friendlist i’ve used to rightclick report but feel there must be a better way to get this noticed when its such blatent use of what im assuming is a bot program.
Any advice is welcome.
right-click>report player for>cheating
If they are botting, you may not see results quickly. Blizzard tends to monitor bots to allow them time to determine what exploit is being used, can the exploit be fixed without severe impact on players, can the botting software be detected. They then ban in waves as it has a greater impact that removing a single account/botter at a time.
Edit:
Someone explained concisely why banwaves have more impact than whack-a-mole.
Thank’s for the reply, I had figured as much but the issue I’m running into is the need for the “person” to be online with that charater to report, and without being able to properly report all the charaters i suspect of botting I dont feel blizz will get the complete picture and depth of the in game abuse taking place.
Thanks again and take care.
You don’t need to report all of them. Just a sampling would be enough. If you have additional names at the time, mention them in your report.
This additional article might help.
That makes sense, I’ll go ahead and do that as well as read over the support article.
Thank’s again for your time nd quick replies, take care
