So today during work decided to read the Ludaslab article about the current state of arena in Season 2. To be quite honest, I didn’t understand most of it. 
But from what I DID understand is the massive gear gap between new players, sub average players and average players is just too much. So yeah I get that. But my question to the arena forums is, what is honestly holding you back from reaching your goals in pvp? Is it really the gear or is it something else? 
I’m just a 1550 kinda guy that’s about it.
School, teamates/lfg and conq/honor.
By teamates I mean finding ppl to que with

Game not fun and I don’t really enjoy a class to play.
I have lots of business trips I have to go on. Managing teams across the globe makes it very hard for me to find time to sit down meet my goals in World of Warcraft.
Nevertheless, I always find a way to meet it. I already met my goal of obtaining Gladiator this season, so my new goal is to find people who have trouble finding partners (Preferably new players), and help them meet some goals they have set!

I have a horde mage I started so I can push arenas. Seemed fun.
I keep hopping on it randomly since I quit playing wow altogether.
Every time, I finish my session disappointed. I’m pretty bored of hitting like a wet noodle and getting wrecked if I’m caught off guard for a couple seconds.
I’m not interested in doing pve with this toon. I get so bored of being useless while grinding honor. Think I’m 195 ilvl in pvp now.
So, power gap and gear acquisition keep me from playing the game.

Don’t worry, when you hit 1800 you’ll be told you’re bad at 1800 and when you hit 2100 you’ll be told you’re bad there and even if you hit glad you’ll get lol’d for being a shadowlands glad.
